Just 5 km from the holiday home is the town of Franeker, known from the Eleven Cities Tour. Visit the old town centre and the planetarium. Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland, is 22 km from the holiday home. The holiday home is approx. 7 km from the Bloemketerp indoor swimming pool in Franeker.
