This was our second stay at this house in Stratford. We came for the theatre festival and were able to walk to all the theaters as well as in town restaurants and shops yet we were in a quiet residential neighborhood. Love the addition of deck in the back of house since our last visit. The house is well supplied anticipating our needs Kevin was quick to respond to any inquiries.

My husband and I stayed in this unit for a month and found it perfect in terms of location and comfort. The hosts, Kim and Kevin, were always accessible and graciously addressed an issues that we had. We spent a very enjoyable month seeing the theater offerings of The Stratford Festival and Shaw Festival. We had days to go out exploring other interesting sites in Ontario Province. We have renewed for a stay next summer already!

A wonderful place to stay, close to everything, and beautifully appointed. Delicious homemade marmalade. Comfortable places to read in the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very comfortable, impeccably- clean and well-appointed accommodations. Great location for walking to theatre and town. Hosts could not have been more attentive, attentive and thoughtful. Just excellent in all respects.

You can tell that Kev and Kim are thoughtful hosts by the little things that were provided: homemade continental breakfast goodies (particularly enjoyed the Irish Kissed Marmalade), OJ, milk, cream, both regular AND DECAF real coffee, coffeemaker filters, various teas, seasonings, cooking oils, etc. Just enough so that if you needed something in the house , you didn't have to go buy a large package just to use a small bit. We are conservative towel users, but, there were enough towels for an army! and heated bathroom floor!!! Lovely and comfortable furnishings. entire house a delight. We asked if we could stay an extra night, and the house was available: no problem with the unexpected booking process. We actually walked over to their bed and breakfast so we could meet K&K---truly a lovely couple. Restaurant recommendations were perfect, both for dine in and carryout. (just a note that MrKim's closes for dinner). I wish the one reviewer would change his rating: he gave a 99% complimentary narrative, but only 1 star. I think he thought Hey! they are #1, and thus gave 1 star, which unfortunately brings the overall star score down. Hopefully people will read the narratives, and not just look at stars. I had to laugh that my husband made a comment stated by a previous reviewer: he wished there was a lavatory on the first floor. Get real! go up the stairs! you're a tourist walking all over Stratford---how can you not go up the stairs 1-2 times per day. thank you Kevin, and Kim. We are ready to plan a 2020 trip just to stay at your place!! (FYI to guests---it's a 6 minute walk to the Avon and Studio theaters, 11 minutes to Festival, restaurants 3-10 miniutes)

We felt very at home during our stay. Kevin and Kim were great from start to finish. They communicated very well and responded to inquiries quickly. The location is perfect for theater goers as all were within easy walking distance of all 3 venues. Instructions for entry were simple...they provided milk, orange juice and creamer along with some nice treats in the fridge with butter, cream cheese and jellies to top them off. Coffee both decaf and regular were provided too. The kitchen was equipped nicely although we ate out most meals. It is obvious that lots of work went into this home especially the bath. The shower (no tub) is awesome, the lighting is bright and the towels looked and felt brand new. There are so many little things like the Bose (Bluetooth compatible) speaker and the bottle of wine that awaited us on arrival that show that Kevin and Kim really want you to enjoy your stay. IF and I say IF there is a negative it is that the only bath is upstairs so you have to climb the stairs once in a while. It was great for the morning and night when waking up and getting ready. We have decided that this will be our first choice when visiting from now on.

This was a great house for us while attending the theater festival for eight days. It was an easy walk to all the theaters and to downtown restaurants and shops. This charming restored house is well maintained and supplied. Though there is only one bathroom it is a good size with a nice shower stall. The washer and dryer on the second floor was a nice feature. We enjoyed the front porch and the quiet neighborhood that was so close to everything in town including the lake. There was even fresh made breads, jams and a bottle of wine when we arrived

This is an immaculate refurbished brick home with two bedrooms upstairs and a modernized kitchen and bathroom. It has the character of an older home, such as the framework around doorways, but it has gone through a first-class update (I'm guessing -- everything is like new). Shower is walk-in (no stepping into a tub) with ample hot water. Location is ideal for theater-goers - it is an easy walk to the theaters, even for my 85-year-old mother-in-law, and also to shops and the river. The neighborhood is a charming, historic area. The interior was very clean and comfortable, and our hosts left us some home-made breads and spreads. We travel a lot and we're pretty picky, but we were very happy with this stay.

This was the best temporary accommodations we have ever experienced. The location is on a quiet street, a mere block away from the shops and restaurants on Ontario Street, and a short walk from the theatre venues. This older house has been recently and tastefully renovated, with comfortable beds, and a well-equipped and stocked kitchen. The hosts provided a welcome package of bread, preserves, milk, juice, and even a bottle of wine. Coffee, tea, oil, herbs and spices were all provided. The only disappointment was that the there is no bathtub --- the bathroom only has a large shower stall.

Kevin and Kim have a gorgeous property, beautifully furnished. Comfortable beds, pretty bathroom and nice front porch. Our hosts were responsive and left breakfast goodies and fresh flowers for us the first day. The location is absolutely perfect to see the plays. Everything is in walking distance including walks along Lake Victoria. Highly recommend.
