Welcome to Green Wave! One of the Folly favorites is new, improved, and back on the market! This beloved Folly cottage featuring recycled wood walls was renovated in 2023, making it the perfect updated space for a relaxing vacation with family or friends. The front porch has a dining table, porch swing, and a new trifold window that opens onto a bar from the kitchen. Please note that the tri-fold window is only available from October to April. A new back deck with under-rail lighting features a dining table, sectionals, and other seating that looks over a brand- new Pool and Spa surrounded by palm trees. Please note that the spa is only available from October to April. The manicured and fenced-in backyard features an outdoor living room and four pool loungers on ivory travertine decking to provide a relaxing respite after a long day at the beach. The centerpiece of the remodeled, fully-furnished kitchen is a green induction oven, with a peninsula that seats five, a beverage station, and a walk-in pantry. The kitchen flows seamlessly into a dining area with a round table and a living room with built-in bookshelves and a Smart TV. The primary bedroom on the first floor has a king bed and a remodeled walk-in ceramic tile shower with marble floors. A new laundry room with drying racks and a wallpapered powder room are also on the first floor. On the second floor, one bedroom features two twin beds while the other has a king bed. The second-floor full bath has been fully renovated with a walk-in ceramic tile shower and marble floors. There is also a second-floor living room with a sectional, Smart TV, and built-in bookshelves. This unique home has retained its cozy Folly vibes but now has all the modern amenities visitors could want.
Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historical exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25-minute car ride, offering endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Fall in love with this beautiful island!

Some welcomed news in 2024 is The City of Folly Beach will be re-nourishing our beach which is much needed!
Although not confirmed by the city, work is expected to start around early March until mid-August 2024 and will be focused one block at a time. While we expect this to be a net positive to everyone (more sand and larger beaches), there is a small chance there will be construction on the beach and/or beach closures near this home.
The city has not provided any further information on more precise dates, scheduling, or sequencing. But you can stay informed with the latest by visiting the City of Folly Beachs website.
Please note that our office does not have any more information than what is posted online, and we are not responsible for any beach disruptions caused by the re-nourishment during your stay.

Contactless Check-In: This home offers a Keyless entry system, and we will provide the code before your arrival date.
Parking is available for four cars in the driveway, and a boat trailer can be fitted if needed.
We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am.
The Folly Beach noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 8 am.
No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house.
A security camera monitors the front door entrance/parking area.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
The occupancy can be at most 6 people at any time during your stay.
We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking.

Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. However, we are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.

This house is quaint. We enjoyed the character of the house and the screen porch. The furniture in the den area needs attention. Also, the freezer was non functional as the door wouldn’t close all the way. We reported these items to property management and they did indicate they would address them. This was my personal experience, and others may not have the same reaction, but while I enjoyed the overall quaintness of the house, and the location, the kitchen and bathrooms would have to be gutted and redone for me to rent this property again. I like to cook and the condition of the cabinets, counters and overall feel of the kitchen was just a deal breaker for me. The upstairs bath has only and hand held shower device, and just overall the kitchen and baths felt disheveled and unpleasant. A redo wouldn’t have to be fancy, just clean and functional. My 2 cents. loved our visit to our favorite place. first time staying at this house, it was super cute and pretty much perfect. the screened porch will make you super happy!
We loved this house. A great spot close to everything but still tucked away. The screened in porch with it’s huge, amazing swing was perfect. Lots of fun character, classic and a little bit rock-n-roll. The kids were able to have their own hang-out space upstairs. Check-in was also easy, and rental co. was super nice and attentive. Can’t say enough about this sweet spot!
This was the second time we have stayed at this home and we loved it just as much this time. The location is perfect for walking to the beach, to Bert's Market, or the restaurants and shopping on Center St. The layout makes it ideal for groups as there are several areas to get a few moments of alone time. The outdoor shower is also fantastic but needs a little TLC. My favorite room by far was the screened in porch where I enjoyed my coffee every morning.
Despite the weather not being the best, we had a fabulous visit!! Check-in was a breeze and the house was exactly as listed. It's just a couple of houses down from Center Street and much closer to the beach than we had initially thought. The property managers were super quick to respond and very friendly. One snafu was fixed in a jiffy....The hot water heater was leaking and they were there to check on it in just a few minutes and had a plumber there within a couple of hours. Our visit wasn't disrupted at all! They also called to check on us a couple of times- Rob was super! We utilized all of the sitting areas-- there is plenty of room and the furniture is comfortable. The real star of the house, though, is the front porch. It was spacious and lovely and the yard is shaded which is lovely! The only problem we had was the upstairs bathroom... we knew about the shower and could deal with that, but the door was extremely hard to open and close, so we had to leave it 1/2 open which wasn't ideal. The door was a sliding door and probably just needed some oil or to be realigned. My recommendation for the upstairs bathroom is to get a shower curtain that is waterproof so water doesn't go everywhere with the handheld showerhead and also to look into fixing the door so it is easier to open and close. Overall... great spot... wonderful service... we will be back for sure! Jodie

Very cute home and super location. Screened porch is where we spent all our time. Upstairs bathroom doesn’t have a shower, and the outlets in that same bathroom didn’t work - a minor annoyance for four women staying together - but for the right grouping it’s a great house. Would definitely rent again.
We loved the flexible layout/sleeping accommodations, tasteful decor, and fabulous large screened-in porch -- and the short walk to Bert's and the beach!
The house is in a great location - close to restaurants, convenience store, beach and golf cart rentals. The house itself could use some updates, but overall we were comfortable.
Great location and value. The property managers were timely about replacing old fans, bbq grill, and repairing stove. The living room furniture is a little worn, but otherwise the house is in now in good shape for future renters!
