1BR Guest Apartment On Private Estate -KING BED- Pick Oranges by the Front Door

This private 1-bedroom suite with kitchen was like a home away from home. Extremely quiet and safe - we slept with the windows open and it was seriously our best sleep in a long time! Close to local restaurants and grocery stores, and a short and easy 20-minute drive to Carlsbad and the beach. The host, Susan, was welcoming and at the same time did not intrude. Gorgeous property and neighborhood. Quiet and laid-back!!

What was so special was location. It was walking distance from part of our family who held Thanksgiving meal. It accommodated 3 of us, which is not easy to find. It was rainy, so we didn't get to look around much - but it was a nice secluded property. Only negatives, is there was an ant problem - but we didn't have any food or need kitchen outside of having tea in the morning. We were only there in early morning and later (after 8pm) at night, but it was pretty easy to hear the owners who live there. Could use more sound proofing.

Very homely place to stay, Susan and Rich were very hospitable. It was private and pleasant. We enjoyed our weekend.

We had a very pleasant stay with Susan. The grounds are beautiful and the apartment was quiet, which I appreciate. It was very clean, up to my standards of clean, which is saying something! The small kitchen was well appointed with all the necessities. I was surprised how comfortable the bed was as I've stayed places with horrible beds. And the bathroom was large, with a bathtub! It seems bathtubs are not so easily found these days. I would definitely book again. As a matter of fact, I would have loved to have had more time there.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful property, quiet, peaceful, serene, perfect distance to restaurants, beaches and attractions. We loved it. Susan is kind, lovely and welcoming.

Beautiful property, but very remote. Nothing within walking distance and road to get there was very narrow and twisty. Hostess was so nice. Orange trees just feet from the from door provided sounds of happy birds and fresh morning juice - yum!

The place was as advertised. The hosts were great. The apartment was neat and clean and well equipped.

We had a wonderful time at a beautiful property. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay including fans, a comfortable king size bed and pillows. Gorgeous shrubs, trees and flowers surround this property. Easy parking, check in and very helpful hosts!

This was such a quaint and peaceful place to stay. It was so quiet, too. The neighborhood was beautiful and a great place to take a walk if you wanted. It felt like we were far removed from the busyness of the city, but it was actually only minutes to everything.Susan was so welcoming and kind. The place was in immaculate condition. It was so comfortable and we had a great stay. We will definitely be booking again.

We celebrated New Year’s at a nearby friends house and it was great to have our own getaway. The bed was very comfortable.

Beautiful part of Vista. Beautiful garden and clean apartment. Unfortunately there was a problem with ants around every day. The hosts were trying to control the problem, but it was concerning.

Apartment was clean, comfortable in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of places outside to walk. Beautiful gardens on property and easy access via car to restaurants stores etc. Susan was a very gracious host. Highly recommend!
