Stayed Jun 4, 2022Chiara is a spectacular host. She is always available and does anything to make your stay the best. The house is large, clean, and comfortable. The showers were great with nice hot water and good pressure. The pool was a bit too cold for us to use much. The setting is lovely and the town of Panicale is a fun small place. The location is good for access to both Tuscany and Umbria. I would have liked to have a TV in the main living room to watch as a group and the kitchen could use a few more pans. It's a great place for a family, peaceful and quiet.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We have rented villas and apartments all over the world - this villa matches the best of the best of those rentals. The villa was well laid out, well equipped and extremely comfortable. The villa is positioned in the valley but easily accessible to the centre of Panicale which is only a 5 minute drive or a short 30 minute walk up the hill (not too difficult for most abilities). Panicale has numerous eating options for every taste or wallet. There are so many options in the area to visit that would last many holidays - Casteligione di Lago, Paciano, Montefalco, Chuisi, Citta di Pieve and many more. Our host Chiara was a delight, nothing was too much trouble and was available when required, but gave us total privacy. Her attention to detail and the quality of the villa was evident everywhere. Thank you so much Chiara - what a wonderful holiday.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Podere Molinaccio was a perfect place for a wonderful vacation with family and friends. The house is lovely; furnished with attractive antiques and original art, it was an inviting place to return to after a day of sight-seeing and driving around the hill towns. Chiara was very gracious and helped us with many arrangements, from rental cars to reservations at wineries, or dinner in Panicale, she was an excellent guide to local experiences. An extended stay is ideal, as the pace is relaxing yet there are so many beautiful towns and vistas to take in, a weekend is not enough.

Stayed Aug 11, 2019From the moment we arrived we were really impressed with our choice of property. It was spotlessly clean and the house and gardens very well maintained. The outside space was huge and great for the kids, also lots of shade for those very hot summer days. The pool was wonderful, really clean and perfect temperature. Our host Chiara was lovely, so welcoming and helpful, nothing was a problem and she was always at the end of a text to offer advice when we needed the doctors or recommendations for restaurants or anything else you needed. Loved it here, Panicale and Paciano were beautiful villages too, would definitely recommend.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Podere Molinaccio is a sensational haven; a home from home, away from it all, and yet within easy reach of local shops and restaurants. Panicale is a great base for visiting many beautiful Umbrian and Tuscan towns and villages. Umbria is in between Rome and Florence, making day trips to these cities a distinct possibility. The owner, Chiara, is a force of nature and is the perfect host. On the evening we arrived we were delayed leaving the airport and weren't due to arrive at Podere Molinaccio until 11:00pm. When we let Chiara know we were going to be late, even though the weather had taken a turn for the worse, she offered to talk with a local restaurant and get pizzas for us for when we arrived. What a lifesaver! Throughout our stay Chiara was available with great ideas for places to visit and things to do. I can definitely recommend the Lamborghini Golf, lunch and winery tour, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the cashmere shopping outing to name but two. The property itself is amazing and comprises the complete first floor f the villa with its own separate stairway. All the rooms are ensuite, although it should be noted that the kitchen area can only be accessed through one of the bedrooms. The pool is superb and has the best loungers we've ever seen along with 2 covered areas for when the sun is a bit too hot! There are also 2 further covered areas just outside the villa; one set up for dining and the other for relaxing. All in all I can totally recommend Podere Molinaccio as a place to get away from it all, and as a base to explore the wonderful region of umbria.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our party of 7 (4 adults and 3 teenage daughters) had a brilliant 2 week stay. The house is a great size, very comfortable and lovely and quiet as in large private grounds. All rooms immaculate, with air conditioning throughout. Lovely furniture in each of the 4 bedrooms and importantly, all beds comfortable. Ensuite bathrooms to all of the bedrooms are very well decorated and spotless. Outside eating area perfect and pool exceptionally clean. You couldn’t fault anything. The owner, Chiara, is the loveliest and most helpful person you’d ever want to meet. Great help with trips to Florence, Perugia etc. Even arranged a birthday cake to be made for one of the girls. She’s a real star. Location fabulous for restaurants in Panicale and Paciano, which are just a 5 minute drive away. Castiglione de Lago also close. If you want a great place to stay on the Umbria/Tuscany border, can recommend this property. Will be staying here again.
