The Ocetillo lodge is an amazing complex. Great pool and the area is the best in PS. So many great dining options and bars within walking distance. The unit itself has so much potential. Nice open layout and plenty of room. The kitchen seemed well appointed though we did not cook.the private patio is huge unfortunately the furniture on the patio and everywhere else was very uncomfortable. The patio needs a good cleaning and the gardens need to be tended, lots of dirt on the furniture, lots of plant debris and lots of weeds. They also need a n umbrella for some shade. As I mentioned above, there is literally nowhere comfortable to sit in the entire unit. The bed is also hard as a rock. Great pity ur falls flat for comfort.

The lodge is a great location 2-1/2 kms from downtown Palm Springs. Great base to see all the sights. Cycling distance from the Palm Canyons. The kitchen had good quality appliances and the small private patio was lovely. The pool and hot tub were great and the gym was large enough for a workout. The permanent residents at the lodge were very polite and welcoming.

Very nice mid-century modern unit...bright, spacious, clean, comfortable, very central location, responsive hosts/mgmt company....my only thoughts: would be nice to have room to hang full shirts/suits/jackets in the area dedicated for clothes storage...maybe some drawers as well to be able to put away clothes...also, the shower head could use an upgrade and it would be lovely to have a shower curtain :)...not deal-breakers - but would make a very nice experience even more pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay here. The space had everything we needed except a place to hang clothing. There was no place to hang any adult sized clothing(!) There is a wardrobe type of unit in the bedroom area that offers about 2.5' of vertical hanging space, suitable for hanging children's clothing but that's about it. Not even a men's shirt would hang without wrinkling, much less a woman's dress. As it was, we had to resort to hanging our stuff on top of the doors of the large cabinets out in the living room area which left the space feeling a little ramshackle. This was not a dealbreaker but definitely something that could be addressed/improved. That aside. The location is great. The other details of the property are very nice. Kitchen is newly renovated though we didn't do any real cooking. Pool area is great. Overall I recommend.

This is a great property that is well-appointed and in a great location. A couple of dings: the fan on the AC would never cycle off/can’t cycle off. It was too cold at night not to have fully functioning heat. The sofa is VERY narrow and looks far better than it sits. The patio could use some love.

Upon entering, we encountered stunning finishes, sleek appliances, and a lively colour scheme, instantly setting a vacation mood. The open floor plan enhanced the spacious and inviting atmosphere. Although the door-side windows lacked coverings, nighttime lighting gave a temporary fishbowl effect. The gym and restaurant were closed, allowing one to explore local eateries and embrace traditional exercise methods like walking, especially for early-morning runners. The pool area, with fewer guests, felt like a private oasis, perfect for sunbathing. Convenient laundry machines by the pool managed via a phone app, simplified laundry tasks. Moving to the patio, the outdoor space was well-appointed but required cleaning. Nonetheless, alternative spots to enjoy the sun were easily found. Inside, the unit impressed with its pristine condition and stylish decor. The in-unit coffee bar, complete with coffee grounds and creamer, was a highlight, especially the DeLonghi machine. The bed, while firm, provided a comfortable night's rest. Pillow quality fell short, making a travel pillow a wise choice for selective sleepers. A short 15-minute walk led to various shops and a well-stocked grocery store with liquor, a pleasant surprise for fellow Canadians. The bathroom's lack of a glass panel led to slippery conditions, but a towel remedy ensured safety. Pack your sense of adventure, bring some eye coverings for the bright mornings, and get ready to make some unforgettable memories.
