This place is a gem. So comfortable and quiet. Great location! Love that the art in the home are copies of the host’s own work. They are beautiful! The host was very responsive. Would highly recommend this place!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Laurel's cottage. We loved sitting on the private patio and smelling the lilac bushes in full bloom. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. As others have said, the quiet, charming neighborhood is an easy walk to the plaza and Canyon Road. We'd certainly stay there again next time we're in Santa Fe.

Cozy, clean, comfortable and quiet! Just the right amount of space for two. Close to downtown for shopping and eating! This was our second stay at this beautiful little casita and we plan to stay here over and over again. The kitchen is very small but we come to Santa Fe to eat the food so it’s the perfect size for grabbing a quick snack.

We loved the location. We totally enjoyed all of the Laurel’s original paintings throughout the house. As the kitchen is small, it is well equipped, and a lot of extras were left there for you to use. We slept so well on her bed. The rental nice and tucked away, and we felt that our car was very safe. I personally loved the finish on the cabinets in the kitchen.

Excellent location. Perfect size home for the two of us. Really liked all the comments, labels on closets, and instructions for TV remote as well as the heating/cooling system. Lots of extra touches like a history of the property and listing of attractions in the area. Overall very pleasant experience.

The host was very welcoming, the amenities were well attended to. The casita felt like a safe spot to land. It is located well away from the business of Santa Fe, but still local enough to get around town quickly. We live in an adobe house in another city, so were quite pleased to stay at the casita. I picked up a few home decorating ideas as well. Thank you for welcoming us to the casita.

Had a fantastic stay. House was very spacious and comfortable with just about everything you could need. Communication was excellent. The home is within a comfortable walking distance from most attractions. However, we were there in mid-January so we opted to drive to the plaza area rather than walk due to the cold weather and parking at this time of year is plentiful. We absolutely enjoyed access and ease of use of the fireplace. We enjoyed that tremendously and Laurel provided enough fuel for the three days we were there. We really appreciated the use of the fireplace as it was very cold. Furnishings were comfortable. Everything we utilized was very well maintained and clean. It's located in a residential area and we felt very safe. Parking is a little tight but is manageable with a midsize suv and we appreciated it was off of the street and a guaranteed space.Thank you for a great stay and we would certainly consider staying here again if we were to return. Highly recommend. Ruth and Eddie

In a quiet neighborhood, but within a short walk or drive of shops, restaurants, museums, etc.Laurel is a caring and responsive host! We had a small electrical problem when we arrived, but Laurel was on it immediately and had an electrician out ON A SUNDAY to fix it. And labels explaining TV, washers, etc are detailed and abundant, making it easy to settle in and enjoy Santa Fe. This rental is perfect if what you want is quiet yet convenient, cozy and comfortable, and quintessential Santa Fe. The history of the place / compound was so cool too and to know what came before is always a compelling story to know. The patio outdoors was just a wonderful place to read. The kitchen, while small had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep. BUt one of the most wonderful parts were the pastel drawings that the owner has done and adorn the walls of the casita. They are stunning and give her interpretation of the area. Just perfect. The location is centrally located to many of the Santa Fe highlights - though for those of us used to a consistent system of sidewalks there was a little more “creativity” in the pedestrian approach. A great coffee shop and mailbox within easy walk and Canyon Rd is at the end of Garcia St. Communication with the owner was easy and fast - she was very responsive to the little concerns we had. We found everyone working around the compound very pleasant and friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if we are ever able to get back to Santa Fe.

My husband and stayed here 3 nights. The adobe is loved, cared for and well maintained. It was clean without any strong perfume/floral scents; this was a big plus for helping me avoid any asthma flare-up’s. We had everything we needed, appreciated the variety of teas and history about the area. It’s appears located close to the historic downtown district, but we had a car and did not walk it…anyway it was a little too cold to walk. Lastly, it was quiet, both the bed and sofa bed were comfortable and we enjoyed star gazing at night.
