Stayed Jun 11, 2023Incredible, authentic and super charming small camp located on the west side of the lake. The early 1900s home floats above the lake and has been totally restored. It is spotless, well appointed and very comfortable. A porch, spanning the front, is filled with green wicker and exactly the spot of your Adirondack dreams. The separate bunk house, with kitchen, bath and wood burning stove, was great to give everyone some space. A clay tennis court was used daily when we weren’t on the expansive dock and the house comes with a very nice pontoon boat (the house is water access only). There also miles of trails above the home for easy to difficult hikes. The owner lives next door in one of the most beautiful boat houses on the lake, and she was fantastic. We will be back!

Stayed Jul 3, 2022We had a wonderful week hanging out in the lakeside house. The house is old and rustic and very solid, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with all cooking utensils and materials you might need. The scenery around the house is beautiful, and there are hiking trails which start behind the house. A boat is required to get back and forth to town, which gives you a nice feeling of privacy.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is a great camp. We love the access to water and hiking trails, the views of mountains and islands, and the comfort of this house. We went to bed each night listening to the loons and the nearby mountain brook. We woke up to lapping lake water. We love big meals; the kitchen was well suited for cooking lots of family dinners. The front porch is a great hangout place. Everything was very clean and welcoming when we arrived. We (4 adults and 5 kids) happily spent two weeks here.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is one of the classic Lake Placid Camps in a wonderful setting. Marvelous character and views, a running brook and mountain trails. The penultimate mountain/lake experience. The Owners have done a terrific job remodeling this charming old camp. It is clean, wonderfully decorated extremely well cared for. For anyone looking for a great adirondack experience and willing to leave the car behind, this is the place for an everlasting memory.
