1870's Luxury Guest Cottage, Historic Downtown St. Charles, Mo.

The house was beautiful, clean, and equipped with anything you could need during your stay. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. Will definitely book with them again!

Very close to historic district. Restaurants and shopping all easy walking distance. The house was very clean and everything in good working condition. I appreciated the little extras that many vrbo do not provide.....like coffee pods, some snacks, plenty of toliet paper and mini shampoos and conditioners which came in handy as i forgot my shampoo.

Overall a good experience. Needed another chair for the table and the floors could be cleaner.

The kitchen is equipped for a weekend getaway. No stove, but microwave. Utensils etc are fine.Beds are comfortable. Decor is great.All the books around were good. I wish I had had more time to spend with some of the books.Only issues for us were all the steps. It is steep on 3 floors. Great for anyone in great shape. Bit of a challenge for our ages. But we made it work. The surrounding buildings felt a little sketchy. Great location for Main Street St. Charles. We could easily walk to get to Main Street.

The home was clean and charming! Comfortable furnishings and bedding, plenty of towels/linens available and the hot tub was well maintained and easy to use.

Great place for a girls weekend! Perfect location! Beds were very comfy, place was very clean! Would definitely stay again. Stairs could be a problem for some but we just had the young girls stay upstairs!

Some friends and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. This house was perfect. It was within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and bars. The house was spacious enough for all 6 of us to feel comfortable and not feel like we were on top of each other. The hot tub was also a great addition!

In town visiting friends. I had a wonderful stay! Great place, location and peaceful.

Perfect location in St. Charles just off of Main street right smack in the middle of all it has to offer! The home was perfect for our week long trip to the area for our son's college hockey national tournament. We had 6 in our group and it was plenty of space for all of us. fowonderful home to

Loved this house. My family said one of their favorite VRBO homes. Beautiful, clean, amazing location and a hot tub! We will stay there again. I am sure it would be a fantastic Christmas house.

It was a wonderful getaway it was close to St Peter's Church and downtown.

The property was perfect for our 2 day shopping trip. Only a half block from all the shops and restaurants. House is very unique and beautifully decorated.

Our family had a great time in this historic neighborhood. We thought not having a stove/oven might be problematic but it wasn't at all - there were so many places nearby to explore we didn't miss cooking for ourselves. There are steep steps - the rooms are on three floors - but our 3 and 5 year old were able to handle them just fine. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The location is great to get on the highway for downtown but be sure to save time to explore historic St Charles and Main Street. (check the times for things - lots are closed Mon/Tues) We enjoyed staying at The Guest House, had quick replies to any correspondence from our hosts and will definitely look in to this, and their additional properties, for future visits to St. Louis.

We had a wonderful weekend in this historic home! We were greeted by a beautiful Christmas tree in the window!! When we walked in the home it was decorated ready for Christmas. The location is right in the historic district and is perfect to walk to shops and restaurants! I truly wish we could have spent more time in this special home! We would love to come back again!

The Guest House is an amazing place to stay. Its location is central to the shops and restaurants on Main St. You can walk to everything! The house itself was very clean and provided us everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were very responsive to an issue that honestly was our own fault. T they were great to work with. We have stayed here before and the back patio is a great addition. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home in the perfect location to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Home was well appointed and provided things we hadn’t even thought would be there. We will be back.

We were comfortable at the house. Too many stairs for one of my friends, but she managed. Clean and comfortable. Loved the location. We could walk to main st and eat and shop!
