Stayed Jun 18, 2023Cleanliness consisted of all carpets shud be cleaned or replaced. The 2 rugs upstairs and bottom throw out everyone was tripping over them. These were all dirty coffee pots (2) and kuerig and bean machine were terrible some with grounds in them. My husband did a though cleaning with vinegar! Clean dishes left in dish washer. In bottom main room the 2 sofa beds very dirty and sandy. First night no outside lights working but maintenance came out and replaced next morn! So for the fees from VRBO and Realty Co would not use this house again!

Stayed Jun 5, 2022We were looking for something on the cheaper side and I didn’t expect the house to be exactly like the pictures. The basement had worms all over it that were make their way up the stairs. The fridge needed to be cleaned before we used it and there were crumbs all over the couch and floor. There was also a mikes hard left under the one bed. The bedding was stained pretty bad and a terrible body odor smell in the closet upstairs. Bring some Lysol spray or something to get the weird smells and the smell out of the basement. With that being said - we had a roof over our head and plenty of room. We made great memories and wasn’t too far from the beach. The hot tub and pool were a plus. We emailed the day we got there because the pool was cloudy - no one confirmed they came but the pool did clear up by the end of the week. Would recommend adding a fridge downstairs. One is NOT enough, we didn’t nearly have 14 people but if the house holds 14 you would think more than one fridge. ALSO bring knives if you’re cooking because they literally have child safety knives. We ran out and bought one.

Stayed Nov 22, 2020Got to the house late and the kitchen had not been cleaned. Food in the microwave, all over the counter and covering the cabinets. My favorite thing was the dead bugs stuck in the grease on the stove and backsplash above. Took 2 hours to clean the house including the bathroom floors that had hairs all over them. Woke up the next AM to make breakfast and found the frying pans were still dirty. Had been put away with oil and egg ALL OVER the pan. The other pans were scratched down to the metal and unusable. Luckily one party wasn’t at the house yet and brought kitchen items from home. Next we found out that only one TV remote in the whole house worked. We were completely missing 2 TVs. Resort Realty was called and they brought batteries for the remotes but did not look at the TVs.... tried to fix them THE DAY BEFORE WE LEFT and were not able to. 3 TVs for 5 kids and 4 adults. Later that day the curtain rod in the master bedroom fell of the wall. Hot tub wouldn’t get hotter than 90ish, 2 jets broken, sheets were stained... replacement sheets had bloodstains... I could go on and on. Stay elsewhere. Period.

Stayed May 17, 2020Just hours before we arrived I got a call from the property management company saying well, your AC is STILL BROKEN but we can put a window unit in, if you like. I did not know that AC wasn't working, so that was news to me. When we got there, the water heater wasn't working either. There were a ton of lightbulbs burnt out, the doorknob on the 2nd floor bedroom with twin beds only opened from the outside (found this out when our 4 year old got trapped in there), no lights worked in another bedroom, the toaster caught fire, the garbage disposal was broken and making an awful sound, the ice makers didn't work, the doorknob on the kitchen cabinet had been pulled out and yet just put back in for the next unwitting person to pull off (my daughter- it terrified her, and she thought she broke it and felt awful). I didn't call the company on every thing, as I didn't want to spend my vacation with strangers in and out of the house trying to fix it up, just figured we'd live with it. It was definitely memorable- and as we discovered each new broken thing, it was laughable. Whoever is in charge of keeping this property up (the rental company is Resort Realty) has dropped the ball. I would be furious if I were the owner of this property, but I guess there are people out there who don't take pride in ownership? The hot tub and pool were fun! And we actually had a great time despite all of the things that were broken and wrong with the property- just wouldn't recommend this property (and it's rental company) to anyone. I wish I had better things to report, it really has potential and I hate being negative- but honesty must trump optimism in this case. Not recommended.
