17801 Rebecca Canalfront Pool Home with Dock

We had the best time swimming, fishing, boating, shelling! Can’t wait to come back! Beds were comfortable, house was clean!

The house and pool itself are wonderful. The location is perfect and quiet. The decor is lovely. But it’s the details we were disappointed in. Everyone complained about the beds. The upstairs king master is the worst broken down bed I’ve ever seen in an otherwise nice rental. The knives in the knife block were rusty. The hand can opener was dirty and wouldn’t work. The outside door lock upstairs needs batteries, with two kitchens (one up, one down), you need complete kitchens in both places. Most of the outdoor patio chairs had feet so rusty and uneven we were leery sitting in them. The ceiling fan outside the downstairs kitchen was missing the globe and we couldn’t get the fan on. A lamp next to a king bed was broken but leaning against the headboard. The toaster had one broken lever. Someone left a crusty dirty pot in the cabinets, we were unable to get it clean. There was huge dust accumulation over the doorway to the laundry room. The upstairs master had 6 vertical blind slats missing so no privacy and early morning sun in your eyes in bed. There was not enough seating at the dining table nor the couches for everyone (8 of us) to eat/sit together. There was no microwave in the downstairs kitchen. Ice maker wouldn’t work upstairs. Would be nice to upgrade the bathroom showers and have better water pressure. Need more hooks, grab bars and towel bars. This is all easily fixable by management and the owner.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Everything went really well! Fit everyone perfectly.Nice location.Easy checkin. Tripower communicated well.Loved the dock, pool, open kitchen area!One thing I would say is if you are a clean freak that the doors, trim, walls, furnishings, rugs and stair carpets have wear and stains. That said everything such as bedding and towels and areas like kitchens and fridges,bathrooms were all well cleaned! It's also well stocked for beach chairs and a cooler, umbrella which we didnt find until the last day. Saw manatees.Overall great host and place to stay! Thank you!

This property was very nice and a great location. Everything worked properly except for the pool slide pump, which was no issue as we just wetted the slide for the kids. The rooms and bedding were great, and the open air lower level kitchen was fantastic. The pool, hottub and adjacent docks were so fun and easy to operate. This property is less than 10 minutes from the Fort Meyers Times Square beach. Wonderful place.

The house and pool were amazing! We really enjoyed our time there. Checking in to the house was a nightmare and communication was very bad.

The host was very responsive. We had a mechanical problem with the hot tub and they were helpful as we got it resolved. Very nice place.

We enjoyed the pool, however, the hot tub wasn’t working correctly. When we turned on “spa” it ended up draining water from hot tub to pool.Water pressure in the bathrooms was pretty weak.

I communicated w owner several times. There were many roaches in downstairs kitchen 8-10 every time you walked in. Hot tub never worked, pool people came Sat-no help with green pool, and Sunday, helpful but we had to wait hours to use. Pool guy said owners had been told their pump system was inadequate. New grill did not heat above 280 degrees, so had to cook steaks inside-after a long wait. No pack and play, no high chair. Rented those. Owner stopped responding when I asked for partial refund since we did not have a hot tub, and could not use pool. Dishwasher down did not dry at all.Literally NOT a complainer, there were just too many issued that added up to an unpleasant experience.TY Debra Ward

Our stay here was great! We were in town for a baseball tournament. The kids loved swimming in the pool after their hot games. They fished off the docks. The beach was close, 6 to 8 minutes away. The house pictures are exactly as is. Plenty of space for 4 families. Two separate kitchens and living areas. All in all it was a wonderful stay!!! We strongly recommend. 10 outta 10!!!

The place was great. Property management responded to any questions we had. We loved the location. The pool was great. Fishing was fun. Watch out for the no se'ems bugs. They are brutal. We cant wait to go back. Love the house set up..

House was clean and spacious. We had 8 plus an infant and had plenty of space. The pool was beautiful and nice to be right on the water. Very close to the beach and town. Would definitely stay again.

Plenty of bedrooms and a great patio with pool. We loved the open bar area and solely used the downstairs kitchen and ate outside each meal. The kids loved the pool and fishing off the docks. The garage was stocked with plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for our use at the beaches. The location was nice, being a short drive over the bridge to FM beach (maybe 5 miles). There were a few things that could use some attention. The upstairs kitchen faucet seemed to be broken, along with the microwave. The kitchen(s) could be stocked a little better. Overall, our large family enjoyed our stay and had a great visit to SWF.

Loved the pool

The rental was nearly perfect everything was as advertised the pictures do not really do it justice. My grandchildren tried to wear the pool out! It was just wonderful and I hope that we can return again.

We had 9 people; they all fit easily, beds, bathroom, location fine. But pool and spa never worked. First time I asked they sent me an 82 page manual. There was basically no help. Pool guy came on regular visit and turned it all off!

We planned a family reunion for our father's 70th birthday and could not be happier with our decision to stay at this house. It was clean, beautiful and perfectly met everyones needs.
