159 Jasmine is a cute cottage located on a quiet street within Lakeside Chautauqua; steps away from the lake and Ohio's Most Beautiful Mile; one block from Central Park, beach and downtown; and 20 min drive to Put-in-Bay ferries. Please note that there are gate fees during Chautauqua season.

Stayed May 22, 2026We really loved staying at 159 Jasmine! Communication with Phil was great, the cottage was exactly as described. Beds were comfy, kitchen well-appointed. Phil was so helpful with recommendations. 10 out of 10 for sure. And did I mention it’s a stone’s throw to the water? Just gorgeous.

Stayed Aug 9, 2025I’ve been coming to Lakeside since I was a child. This cottage was lovely with everything we needed for a relaxing stay! It was a short walk to all the best parts of Lakeside. We waited 3 years to finally find an open week at this cottage and it was worth the wait! The hosts were so welcoming and easy to work with!

Just steps away from the serene shores of Lake Erie, the home provided a quiet and relaxing escape. The open and inviting layout made it easy to unwind, and the first-floor master suite—with its attached walk-in shower—added an extra layer of convenience and comfort.Everything about this cottage felt thoughtfully designed, from the cozy furniture to the well-insulated walls that kept outside noise to a minimum, even with construction happening along the street. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights, and the spacious living areas made it feel like home.Beyond the home itself, the owners were fantastic—responsive and accommodating, always quick to answer any questions we had. This cottage truly exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return!

Stayed Apr 25, 2025My family stayed here for a spring weekend at Lakeside. We really enjoyed this cottage and the location is excellent! A short walk to downtown and very close to the walkway by the lake. Loved and spent a lot of time on the enclosed patio. My family was very comfortable and everyone had their own space to relax. The owners had excellent communication. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying at Lakeside and we would definitely return to this place for another stay. Thank you!!

Stayed Jun 24, 2024We were very lucky to be able to rent this last minute and of the dozens of places we've rented at Lakeside over the years, this may be the best. It was perfect for our group. I especially appreciated the first floor master suite and attached walk-in shower for my dad who has significant mobility issues. It made it possible for him to come. You cannot beat this location. Beds were comfortable, AC worked well (not always a guarantee at Lakeside). Kitchen had everything you could want (except a vegetable peeler... so bring your own if it is important to you!) Layout is open and breezy. There is plenty of space for people to eat together. Everything was super clean. We were all so happy we got to stay here.
