I have NEVER stayed/rented a vacation home that was so dirty and infested with so many bugs. I've been up and down the east coast and this is by far, the dirtiest, most disgusting and unclean place. 1. Food, crumbs and stickiness all over the stove, all kitchen appliances are disgustingly dirty. 2. Bugs in the kitchen cupboards, on top of tv stands, floors, smashed on the walls and ceilings. 3. Food and stains on silverware. (I had to wash them all before use) 4. Dishes in the dishwasher 5. Floors un-swepted/or mopped. 6. Dust all over the furniture. Headboards in bedrooms, were so dirty. 7. Bug spray left on the back deck. 8. Any cooking bowl, pot, pan had to be washed before using. 9. Stains on bedding. 10. Dirty windows and door tracks inside/outside filled with bugs. 11. The oven smoked due to the amount of food on the bottom. 12. Broken sliding glass door screen laying on upper deck. 13. Broken bar stools downstairs in rec room, just laying there on the floor. 14. Someone dirty boxers hanging in the trees. 15. Broken window blinds. 16. The amount of spiders around the property, in the house was scary. I think that you get the point. I shouldn't have had to spend my first day cleaning, but in order for me and my family to feel comfortable for the next week... it's what I had to do, especially in the kitchen. You seriously need to rethink who you use for you cleaning company. Just completely awful. I would like some kind of compensation for me having to do their job!!! We paid close to $4,000, I expect something in return!!! I will never book with this company again. I should've known before hand from the previous bad reviews, but figured under new ownership, things haven't changed at all.

Had to lay on a blanket on the concrete because the loungers pictured by the pool were not there. There were only 4 old dirty Dollar general chairs by the pool. Called 4 times and was told they would bring them. Never came. Palmetto bugs in house. Showers and cupboard doors broken and didn’t open and close easily.

The house wasn’t necessarily the cleanest place (cobwebs and dirt on the floors when we arrived) but it was in good shape and plenty of space for a few families to stay in. The pool was perfect for our kids and the hot tub was nice too. The beach wasn’t too far from the house either. We had a great week and we enjoyed our stay

The house was infested with cockroaches, ants & spiders. As guests we had to fend for ourselves to remedy the situation. Calls to the realtor about the cockroaches were answered, but not addressed to our satisfaction. We were informed 2 weeks after our calls that an exterminator had visited the house, but could not gain entry. Shame on us for not sitting around the house while we were vacationing. There was no attempt by the realtor or service company to notify us of the pending service. I believe it was the realtor or owners responsibility to provide entry to the residence or the service, they both have keys and authority to make the home available for treatment. While we were vacationing there we killed at least 10 cockroaches, some coming out of the furniture, a nest of ants in the kitchen wall electric outlet and dozens of spiders hanging from ceilings and doorways. We fell sorry for the next victim of this rental but had no way of warning them.

The home is exactly as indicated in the pictures, except for the green looking pool, it was a beautiful clear blue. All of the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Only wish they had more dresser storage and a mirror in each room. The kitchen and dining area was great. Adults ate in dining room and kids at on picnic tables in screened in porch. I do suggest that the owners get another fridge and an ice maker for the property, there was not enough room for food and leftovers as we cooked all but one night. The pool was amazing. I can not say anything bad about it. It felt like the perfect size and temperature. And the seats on the edge of the pool in the deep end were wonderful. The pool was cleaned midweek. We were about a 10 minute walk to the beach which is fine unless you are lugging a bunch of chairs and toys. There is also a public parking that you can park at and walk the block to the beach. There was usually parking. There is also a full basement that the kids took over with video games and played pool, ping-pong, and Foosball all night. Overall, we had a wonderful time being with each other. The house accommodated us perfectly.

We all loved our vacation. The house was great, well stocked with all we needed. Pool was perfect. The trees provided great shade and privacy. I only wish it was closer to the beach.
