1533 - Sundowner, Best of Both Worlds...Oceanside Beauty w/Stunning Views of the Sound

We had 3 families stay in this house together. It was nice that all but 1 bedroom had attached bathrooms. It worked perfect that each family had their own floor of the home with bedrooms. The only thing was the WiFi was a little slow. Also the vaulted ceilings and bedrooms needed a good dusting as there were a lot of spider webs and dust. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach which was manageable. Overall, great house and we enjoyed our stay.

We could not have asked for more spacious and gracious accommodations. We did want to let you know that the downstairs bathroom didn't drain well, the third floor closet rod came down. My husband did a temporary fix. The third floor internet was weak--All very minor. We were thrilled with our experience

House was very spacious and clean. Plenty of sleeping. We were surprised by 2 sets of bunks in the one room, we must have miss understood!! This is the most well stocked house I have stayed in. Everything you need for the beach from chairs to a wagon to boogie boards. Highly recommend

The home is beautiful and I appreciated that we could walk to the beach. The pool and hot tub are nice. Pool was a bit chilly but it was the first week in May. It was very nice to have a washer and dryer at the property. It's a lovely home in a very pretty neighborhood. We had fun exploring Corolla and loved the Wild Horse Adventure Tour, the Currituck Lighthouse and Wildlife Center which is free for the public. We loved the Historic Village near the Lighthouse. The Bookstore and Coffee Shop are quaint and fun to visit. The Aquarium near Manteo is definitely worth visiting. The bed on the top floor is very comfortable. The queen and king on the middle floor need their frames to be replaced. They are noisy, especially the queen size bed. Even rolling over causes the bed to squeak. A few things would make this home perfect-supplying pool towels for guests who fly and can't bring their own. Letting guests know that hand soap is not supplied for the bathrooms, as well as dishwasher pods and garbage bags. As these can be written off as an expense, I was surprised that they were not provided. We had to go back to the store to get them which was a hassle. I appreciated the lovely hydrangeas and enjoyed watering them. The outdoor decks are very nice and we loved sitting on the top deck and enjoying breakfast with a lovely view. We loved our stay and hope to return some day!

Great size home for 14 of us to all feel comfortable and not in each other’s way. Close to the beach with a great pool.

This was our first stay at the Outbanks. Enjoyed our property. The pool was great the kids and adults enjoyed it.

Clean property with fully accurate details prior to arrival. A must stay!

Nice home, very clean and well kept. Everything we needed was on site, will book again in the fall..
