1.5 hours from D.C. - No Bay Bridge - Indoor Pool - Private Beach - Sunsets

All the facilities were convenient and comfortable. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were impeccably clean. Everything we needed was fully prepared, which we greatly appreciated. Our entire family was truly satisfied with this trip.The only small suggestion would be regarding the minimum reservation period. it would be wonderful if a 4-day booking were possible. :)

The property was just as advertised. The dock and the beach area were lovely. There was a huge yard with room to play horseshoes, cornhole, frisbee, or hang by the fire pit. My grandchildren loved the indoor pool. The house itself was very warm and inviting. We had a very nice stay for the week.

Our family vacation was seamless! Easy check-in, more than enough items to cook with, and private enough that we could just sit on the dock or in the yard and listen to the waves crashing. I found some wonderful pieces of sea glass and my husband and father in law caught and ate enough crab during our stay to make the trip a memorable one. Unlimited frozen drinks, which my kiddos really enjoyed. The indoor pool, also was enjoyed by the whole family, especially when we had stormy weather. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

The property is well taken care of it is a nice water front stay with whoever you would like it is very peaceful and quiet as well.

Great place for our group - enough sleeping areas for our 5 adults and 5 kids. Kids loved the pool and beach, and it was so convenient to have kayak, canoe, paddle boards, and lifejackets available as well as a ton of beach toys, and pool toys. Also yard games and towels. Also shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in every shower.Highly recommend! Beautiful area of Maryland that I had never visited before.

The views & sunsets were amazing. The host is extremely quick to answer questions & concerns. Everything was just as listed, an abundance of outdoor activities, great fire pit, very nice beach chairs, kayak, canoe and paddle board. Inside we had a nice starter kit of toiletries, dish soap and laundry detergent. Be sure to bring your supply bath soap (if you don’t like gel), washcloths and towels. My only complaint would be about the low toilets and the possibility of adding grab bars to help elderly & people with disabilities to get up. As a family, we already discussed a return trip next year. Thank you for allowing us to create unforgettable memories!

Our family really enjoyed staying here. The house was spacious and there were many amenities. Outside, the property is large with a dock for fishing, a large lawn, small beach. We especially enjoyed the large indoor pool since a tropical storm came through toward the end of our trip. The owners were responsive and wonderful to deal with. We will definitely keep this property on our list for future vacations.

This is a beautiful and well kept property. So many extras were included in our stay to make our stay special. We all left with lots of sea glass and happy memories. Our hosts were wonderful & easy to reach. Ten stars! Cannot

Our family had a wonderful time, with so many activities at the property we stayed together. The porches, swings, hammocks, pool, beach, pier, comfy couches, movies, music wow! AC worked as it should, a blessing in the heat and humidity. The lack of boat traffic made our stay peaceful. Thanks Kristin and Doug for sharing your home with us.

Nice place for a family vacation. Good location. On the positive: Outdoor space is very nice. Owners tried to have everything available. The indoor pool is definitely a plus! But it gets extremely HOT & HUMID during the summer months. It was still a great option. Also plenty of towels for the pool area. The screened-in porch was nice. The popcorn maker was a nice option but it burnt the popcorn. The margarita machine was a nice feature. Very refreshing. The owner replied quickly to any texts or phone calls. On the downside: Needs upgrades. The ceiling fans upstairs make annoying noise. Family didn’t use fans. Ice maker did not work in refrigerator downstairs. ( I saw a review from two years ago that it didn’t work then). We just bought a bag of ice. Dishwasher only had one cycle that worked (the 1 hour cycle). The hot water option did not work or the sani rinse option. So I hoped it was being washed with hot water. It was nice to have spices available, but again most were outdated when I looked at the expiration dates. Salt and pepper were available so that worked for us. Plates were glass. Not a good option. Bring your own bar soap if you like bars instead of liquid. Wash clothes were not supplied, just bath and hand towels. Dirt under beds. Trash was not emptied before we arrived in downstairs bathroom. I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

We absolutely loved our stay at Piney Point. It was wonderful for a family of any ages. Plenty to do to keep the littlest entertained and the water is so relaxing. Highly recommend.
