Welcome to your modern and coastal 2-bedroom home away from home! We are conveniently located just a block and a half from a flat and sandy beach, the very best in San Diego! If you head East, you are also a short stroll from the famous Del Mar Race Track & Fair Grounds! Del Mar's Dog Beach and The Del Mar Village are also just a short stroll on foot. Our unique duplex features panoramic views, a lush exterior landscape, and an enclosed outdoor shower. Pack up the family and experience the very best that this dynamic beach town has to offer.

PARKING

HOUSE RULES
- Max occupancy at all times: 4
- Quiet Hours: 9pm - 9am
- NO PARTIES, GATHERINGS, EXTRA GUESTS BEYOND 4 PEOPLE, OR EVENTS ALLOWED - Strictly enforced.
- 1 PET ALLOWED - There is a $50 pet fee per night. We only accept dogs. Please inquire about other pets allowed with our Reservations Department. If you bring furry friends, we ask that you do not allow them outside during quiet hours, as neighbors are very sensitive. Please do not leave your pets alone unattended during your stay.
- There shall be no video, still photography, or film production of any kind without the express written consent of the owner.
- SMOKING: This home and all Vacation Rentals by Kimberly properties are strictly non-smoking. Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the premises. A minimum $250 fee will be charged if evidence of smoking is found.

PLEASE NOTE:
- This home is NOT baby and/or child proofed. It is your responsibility to walk the home and/or property upon arrival, to make this space safe for your children. We assume no liability for harm/death to any baby or child staying or visiting this vacation rental.
- There is exterior surveillance camera recording 24/7. The camera is located on the driveway
- The backyard space is shared with the other duplex. Please inquire if you have any questions.
- Please note that early check-ins and late check-outs are available at our discretion. There are extra fees for either of these add-ons when available.

CANCELLATION POLICY
• A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty, aside from a $500 restocking fee.
• Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment (not including deposit and cleaning fee).
• Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. If you wish to shorten your existing reservation with VRBKIM, and your reservation is further than 30 days away, we do charge a $100 restocking fee to make this adjustment.

Parties and Overoccupancy Policy:
If the guest violates any of our rules regarding noise, parties, or overoccupancy, and the host receives complaints from neighbors, a $500 fine will be imposed per occurrence. In addition, should these allegations be found true, the guest will be subject to immediate eviction without a refund.

    Our House was being painted so decided to book something fun for the week. Our 3 and 1 year old had an absolute blast. It rained 2 of the days so we were stuck inside but other than that most time was spent on the beach. Didn’t have to lug lots of stuff. Could just walk back and grab what’s needed. Quite, peaceful neighborhood, kids lived the train going by ever so often. Would book again if time comes.

    Place was great and clean - love the outdoor shower. It was too cold to go out back but very cute! As locals here we frequent Del Mar and know the neighborhood attitude but unfortunately it seems the neighbors were pretty uppity and got our 2nd car ticketed for blocking the driveway which was not in fact blocked. It appears they think it is their reserved spot and have a stolen Cal Trans cone to block it as the next day they had a guest parking in the same spot (no ticket..).. Still a great place and of course the neighbors are out of the owner's control but it is not a very rental friendly place (as is common in lots of nicer neighborhoods).

    The townhouse is beautiful and looks newly remodeled. We walked 2 blocks to the beach every morning and swam. The location was amazing and all the amenities including the AC and the outdoor shower were great. The house rules are rather numerous and overly picky, but would not be a problem for a responsible renter. Going through all the strict house rules does bring added stress when on holiday, so I think that’s the only criticism. Otherwise, the location was to die for and the place was lovely, tasteful & comfortable.
