Stayed Feb 15, 2026My mom and I stayed at 130 Shore Rd for February school Vacation. Nice location on the lake close to oquossoc if you are visiting to snowmobile. Closed floor plan so it was difficult for us with our dogs. When we arrived there was no heating oil and the house was 50 degrees, M&F got someone out quick to fix that issue. Front sitting room overlooking the water is not connected to the house heating system and guests are not allowed to use the larger heater in that room so we had to rely on two smaller space heaters to heat the room daily. Two larger bedrooms were nice, upstairs floors very creaky whenever you move so hard for anyone who has to get up in the night to use the restroom. Doors did not stay closed, and there was an infestation of ladybugs. Seemed to us as it would be better served as a summer rental.

Stayed Jul 26, 2025We had a great time during out stay at the property. The house was clean, awesome location, and setup just as the pictures showed. The only downside to the property was the Internet connection. If more than one device was online, buffering of video content occurred. We had to reset the 5G gateway several times to in order to get streaming on the TV to work.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My family and I had a blast staying here over the week of the Fourth of July. The camp is quintessential Maine—creaky floors and small rooms—but we loved it for its charm! There were plenty of beds and seating for all of us. We are familiar with the Rangeley Lakes area and really enjoyed being in Oquossoc this year. It's great having the Oquossoc Grocery a short walk away. The cove the camp is located in is very calm with shallow water. Fun for swimming and kayaking. My dog was able to get right in the lake and he couldn't have been happier. The front lawn was also great for enjoying the views by the fire pit. The dock was large and enabled us to have both a boat and jetski tied up with room for visitors as well. Morton and Furbish is an excellent agency that strives to ensure guests are set up with everything they need. Absolutely no complaints!
