100-Year-Old Venice Beach Home

Lovely home that worked well for our family of 5. Great setup for kids and adults.

This was such a memorable and fun place to stay! It is unique and quirky, but still up to date with comfort. It was clean, quiet, easy and so close to the beach. The host was impossibly patient with me and communicated in a very timely manner. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Lovely home, great location

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The location was amazing, close to everything yet secluded and quiet to make us forget we were in a busy party area. We had a nice get together to celebrate my sisters 70th birthday. We used the BBQ and lovely dining table to have a wonderful experience. Thank you again. I’d highly recommend staying at this house again!

The house great! It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the location was great and Tina was very responsive. If you are looking to be close by to all the action in and around Venice it’s the perfect spot.

The kitchen was fully equipped. There was plenty of bedding, pillows, etc. We loved the delightful quirky elements of staying in a 100-year-old house. The access to the beach was perfect!

This was the perfect stay. The house was the perfect size for my husband and I, two 19 year olds and my in-laws. The kitchen was well equipped - the kitchen table fit all - comfortable living room. We loved the hot tub and the short walk to the beach and restaurants. Loved it!!

Great place to stay! The hosts were quick on communication and the place was lovely. We had a fantastic time, all the beach supplies were a wonderful bonus. Would definitely stay there again. Amazing food with in walking distance too.

So convenient to the beach and boardwalk shops! The home is beautiful, the area is mostly quiet, and the cabinets are well stocked with necessities. We were here for four days and loved and appreciated every minute. The cute, well kept courtyard is perfect for morning coffee.

Just a lovely house one block from the beach and a short walk down to lots of great bars and restaurants.Had a bit of an issue when we first arrived with a sticky doorlock which was soon remedied by the family arriving with WD40! Lisa also mentioned a couple of restaurants Baha Cantina and Mercedes, we tried both and they were great especially Mercedes whose Ropa Vieja was excellent. As said we loved the house, you can genuinely feel the history and family vibe of the place.We would book again in a heartbeat if in LA.

Absolutely phenomenal in every way! The home was gorgeous and obviously filled with decades of family memories! All the instructions were so perfect that we never needed to contact Tina even once! We had a wonderful stay and look forward to another in the future!

Absolutely the best house, best location and best owners. One of the best vacations my family has ever had. We rented bikes from Ray’s and spent our days at the beach (less than one quiet block away), body surfing, riding to Santa Monica, experiencing Muscle Beach, the boardwalk, the most beautiful sunsets ever, breakfast at the Cow’s End and we never had a dull moment. We could walk or bike to absolutely everything and didn’t need a car. My teens were happy and busy. Tina and Lisa were super helpful. We’ll be back!

Amazing! Beach is right there! Shopping and restaurants right there! Canals right there! Everything you need close by and all the antique decorations and original home build left in original condition! And hot tub is a bonus! Highly recommend.

My family of 4 really enjoyed this place. It is located in a perfect area. It is close to the beach, food, and activities. The house is so cute and was clean and comfortable.

Our family of 6 from ages 9 to 77 had a fantastic stay in this lovely house by the beach. We felt safe in the area even at night and enjoyed relaxing in the gorgeous front yard during the day. We are all coming from various large cities so we were not phased by the colorful characters in the boardwalk. The amenities in the house were suitable, we did not want for anything and it was all clean. The decor gave the place so much charm and the art really enhanced the experience. There were so many great restaurants and cafes very close, Great White for breakfast and Si! Mon for dinner were solid favorites. Being so close to the canals and the beach satisfied all members in our party. We really appreciated the beach umbrella, chairs and toys. As a New Yorker I didn’t think I could like LA this much, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Tina and Lisa's charming house was the perfect place to stay for our 3 generational visit. While our kids attended a nearby wedding, we had quick access to the beach and boardwalk to entertain the grandkids for the weekend. The house had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Check-in/out was simple and easy. With 5 adults, 2 kids, and a dog, the house was a perfect, relaxing place for an extended stay.

The house was clean and comfortable. A super location to walk one block to the beach and attractions: basketball, skate park, walking and biking path, and the lively beach scene. Kitchen well equipped and modern. Enjoyed the hot tub. Having two private parking spaces is a dream. WiFi, TV, and everything else made our family get together delightful for old and young.

The Venice beach house was perfect for our family vacation! It’s literally 1 small block from the boardwalk, basically just across the street. It is a 100 year old home, exactly as advertised, so it has some quirks, but we loved it. And it perfectly accommodated our family of six adults, a 5 year old, and a 1 year old. Also, the host is exceptionally responsive and helpful. The kitchen was very well stocked and cooking there was easy. I definitely recommend this home.

This beach cottage is outstanding. It is 200’ from the beach. It may be listed as a rental property but it is really a home that was clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was a delight. The owners responded immediately to our text about a problem with the floor furnace and came by at 11 PM to light the pilot. I am reluctant to give such a strong review, because once the secret is out, it will probably not be available in the future, but it is what it is.

As advertised and the reviews left by others convinced us to rent this place and we were not led astray. Great location. Lots of room.

This is a lovely home right on the beach in Venice, Ca. Close to shopping and great walks along the boardwalk. Sunsets are amazing.

We've rented dozens of houses all over the world and this was one of our favourites. It's proximity to the beach was amazing and we used the hot tub endlessly for the week. LA can be exhausting but in 30 seconds from the house you are on the beach and can walk for miles and hear nothing but the ocean. We will be back!

7 people arrived from 3 different places, ages child to senior. We packed tightly, but it worked great! We thought it was the best rental we’ve ever had…for value with location, amenities (including BEST-STOCKED), cleanliness, and classic historic beach house…I felt like a home -and a treat to be able to call it our place for our trip. Tina was quick and great to work with. We used many property-provided amenities we wouldn’t have had-or bought for a short vacation, like cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, holiday decor. We walked to activities/food much more than most houses because of excellent location. Thank you for trusting us with what felt like a well-lived and well-loved home!

The superlatives would fail to describe this house. This is our second time staying here and it was even better than the first. It is a little over one block to the beach. Sadly, the beach is closed to dogs but mine still felt drawn to it without experiencing it. The Boardwalk was a great to walk your dog. There were multiple places to dispose of a dog’s business. We were down for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was fully stocked. The dining room sat 6 with no trouble. We just loved this place. We look forward to returning. Just be aware the parking is not suitable for a midsize SUV or larger.

we were traveling with our daughter and grandson, he was touring colleges. The house is very comfortable and roomy. The bed in the master bedroom is high off of the floor and the pillows are lumpy. The bed in the second bedroom according to our daughter has a very soft mattress. The twin bed was very comfortable for our grandson. We slept with windows open and really enjoyed the sea breeze and sound of the surf. The kitchen has very thing you could possibly need for cooking and serving. The appliances are clean, new and work perfectly. The half bath downstairs is large with lots of natural light, the master bath shower is very close to the toilet so a challenge to turn on the shower before getting in. Otherwise the bathrooms were clean and plenty of very nice towels. The front garden is very charming. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt very safe. We would happily stay again and only suggest updating the bedding. Thank you Tina for sharing your house and beautiful art work.

Easy walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. Tina was easy to communicate with, and the house was very clean.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is charming, bright and clean. It was perfectly sized for our group or 4. The location is an A+ dream - just steps from the Venice boardwalk and plenty of great restaurants in walking distance.

Great place if you want Venice Beach

The house was very comfortable and close to the beach. We visited other LA attractions during the day and it was always relaxing to come back to the house in the evening for some down time. We will be back!

Absolutely loved this location it was right next to the beach. Literally 1 min walk. You can also walk to a lot of restaurants nearby. The view from the main room is great. One of the other rooms had really stained bed sheets and pillow cases so I felt kinda gross sleeping in that bed. There was also only A/C in the living room and we thought it was in the whole house. There are fans in the rooms that did kind of help tho. Overall for the price the location was great. Very friendly host when we messaged. Would recommend this location for the price just needs the bedsheets changed to newer ones.
