The property had everything that we needed! It was so cute inside with a nice kitchen, living room, bedroom and nice bathroom. We would go back to this place. What we did not like was how loud the neighbourhood was at night with people partying in the adjacent park. It was way too noisy.

We had a lovely stay here. The location worked out nicely as we had easy access to the entire island. The property is located in a quiet and safe area with the luxury of hearing live music in the evenings from the inn across the road.

The sweet little cottage was perfect. Very nicely furnished, comfortable, kitchen and bathroom stocked with all the basics, nice welcome basket, Nd the shaded porch is a gift, and particularly special after dark. Neighborhood is so quiet, except for the inevitable roosters crowing in the morning, which is simply a reminder of being in rural Kaua’i. Only drawbacks are that no services or beaches are within walking distance, but since you know that beforehand, no complaints. And the drive is beautiful! Mahalo to Marti.

We enjoyed our time here and will stay again. Loved the live music on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays nights at the property directly across the way. The Peacocks are beautiful free roaming. Property is as advertised, short walk to Kalapaki beach, shopping, restaurants, and all activities are really close.

My husband and I were visiting Kauai for our honeymoon, and we had an amazing time at the house. The house was clean, had everything you need to cook, stocked with toilet paper and paper towels. It was a very easy checking process, they gave us the code and told us what we needed to do for checkin. The surrounding area was very calm and peaceful, better than what is advertised. This could be due to a road being closed on one side of the house, but it was perfect for us. We took walks at night and enjoyed the beautiful view from our front porch. We are definitely staying here again if we ever come back to Kauai!

Great location. We appreciated little things like a welcome basket, umbrellas and the live music at night being that we could hear from the hotel across the street. We had a very nice stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was a perfect size for 2 people. Comfortable bed, all the amenities we needed. Items for the beach including cooler, towels, chairs. Location is a small neighborhood away from the busier part of town, but only a short drive to stores and restaurants. Enjoyed the lanai and sitting watching the chickens, ducks and peacocks while having morning coffee. The guide book and Ancient sites on Kauai book were very informative and great places to visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay. Good location even with the bridge closure. Less traffic. Able to walk to Duke's. Enjoyed music at the Kauai Inn across the street and wandering peacocks. House adequately stocked. Welcome basket greatly appreciated!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cottage was great to stay in. It has everything you need including full kitchen, AC units for the living area & bedroom, full size washer & dryer units out back, bbq on the lanai & parking for your vehicle out front. We stay every Summer for 2 weeks and we look forward to it every year. The property manager Martie is great & very helpful, so is the owner of the property who occupy the bigger house next door. It was nice to meet him & he was also very helpful... The cottage also comes with some camping chairs, small coolers, beach umbrella & beach towels for excursions around the island. Centrally located & close to the airport. Access to other points of interest on the island is not a problem because of its location. During our stay, the Niumalu Bridge was still out so you will have to drive around the back way by Alekoko Fishpond to get to the property. No word yet when it was expected to reopen. My lady & I enjoy our stays here & recommend it to couples. This property only sleeps 2 people max. A hui hou...

We’ve been to Hawaii a lot of times but this is by far the most relaxing place we’ve stayed at. Very quiet area. Most amenities we need are provided as well as toiletries. The drive to groceries and restaurants is 10-15 mins due to road closure which we didn’t mind at all. And secured parking is a HUGE plus in Hawaii. Will definitely come bak and recommend.

Quiet location, off street parking, clean, great to have a place to do laundry you will pack so much less and have a fresh clean bathing suit and beach towel each day. We hiked a lot so laundry was a huge help. Don't listen to what the other reviews say about it being noisy, there are chickens and stray cats everywhere on the island. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. Great view of the mountains. Very close to everything you'll need without it feeling obtrusive at all. Had a great stay. I felt like a local.

This little cottage was delightful. We had a short 3 night stay, and from the moment we arrived we knew we would enjoy it. We were greeted by 3 peacocks roaming the area, a monarch butterfly and of course many chickens and ducks. The area is quiet and relaxing and the cottage was just right. Many thoughtful touches including a welcome basket full of local goodies, sweet lanai with chairs and a bbq grill, luggage stands, laundry basket and private laundry room, lots of convenient appliances and items; drip coffee maker, blender, hand mixer, rice cooker, toaster, coffee press, small cooler, beach chairs and towels. Just about a half block to a cute park and the Kaiola Kanoe Club ( fun to watch all the students practicing ). Bit of a walk but not bad to Duke’s and many shopping and food places, and Kalapaki beach. The view is great as well, lush green and rock mountains, many different palm trees and Plumeria trees and native plants and foliage. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. To find any faults here would just be nit picky, we would definitely recommend a stay here.
