1 Mi to Lake Wallenpaupack: Pocono Mountain Home!

This was our second time staying at this house which we love. Jennifer is amazing, she answers any questions you may have. This is a very charming home roomy and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

First time staying around the south east part of Lake Wallenpaupack and glad we did. The drive to and from local spots was easy with great views of the lake. The home is cozy and Jennifer was great communicating with! Would highly recommend!

The property was beautifully located, the woods were behind us and we saw/feed several deer daily, also the marina where we rented a boat was only 1/2 mile away. The only downside was is that the dishwasher was broken causing handwashing of the dishes, and after the 2nd day, there was a lot to wash with a family of four, which took time away from my vacation. The host was very responsive during our time at the property.

Our family loved this home away from home in the beautiful Poconos. The layout of this house worked well for us. There are so many spaces to eat and spend time together. The well stocked kitchen was amazing-we made a few meals and had all of the pans and spices we needed. Finally Jennifer was a gem! We left something behind and she ensured it found it’s way back to us. We can’t wait to come back!

Our families enjoyed meeting up in the Poconos for a perfect long weekend. We enjoyed the property and all the house amenities, especially the very well stocked kitchen. It had everything we needed and more! The convenient location made it easy to venture out to local eateries. We rented a pontoon boat on Lake Wallenpaupack for an afternoon. Jennifer was very attentive and checked in frequently. She went above and beyond to locate an item we left behind and send back to us! We would definitely stay here again!

I can't say enough good things about this rental. First of all, the house was spotless. There were many personal touches that added to it. The owner thought of everything that we could possibly need. We had occasion to speak with her and she was very pleasant. The house is secluded but close to the lake, restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a getaway to the Lake Wallenpack area.

Wonderful family time. Easy and quick communication with host who was extremely accommodating! The house was as described and convenient to area attractions. I would have to say it is a bit challenging for outdoor use if you have young children. (We had a1 year old and 4 year old) There is a steep drop in the yard, but it is gated off. The interior could use a bit of updating and air conditioning was a bit underwhelming. Overall it was a very nice mini vacation!

House floor plan was great ! One Bedroom on main floor, screened in porch and everything you would need in the kitchen. Would definitely love to go here again.

The location is lovely, quiet and wooded. I expected the property to be more updated. Old furniture, dusty with a lot of chuchkies. Not whole house air; 2 wall units in whole house. Beds were uncomfortable and bedding cheap. Primary complaint is that this is a private lake. One could not walk to the lake from cottage. Public access was several miles away.
