1 Mi to Beach: Pocono Lake Chalet w/ Decks

The location and neighborhood of this house is beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. However, there were issues with the stay.-Only one key for six people-No key for deadbolt lock so we had to rely solely on lock on door handle-Lock broken on sliding glass door-Issues locking front windows-No blinds on any windows in living room and kitchen-Downstairs king bedroom lock broken-Downstairs bathroom towel bar broken-Oven door handle broke off first time it was touched-Front right stove barely works-Upstairs bathroom not cleaned; toothpaste all over sink-Top bunk not made; sheets left folded on top, but were still wet-Bottom bunk sheets had yellow stains on it-Air conditioners not sealed and had spiders coming in through them every night-Fire pit area completely overgrown with weedsThe worst part was the lack of communication. The property manager tried to charge us 100 over what we owed for resort fees, and you have to pay this through Venmo or PayPal and have faith the manager sends it to the HOA. She never confirmed receiving it until asked hours later. It then took us multiple days to get our gate passes. We called every day and were told it's coming. Finally, 24 hours before we were to check in, we still didn't have them and we were on the phone again with the manager and the HOA directly. We then tried to ask three different questions the day we checked in and never got a response until 8:30 at night to just one of the questions and she ignored the rest.

Relaxing 6 night stay. There was some confusion with the check-in instructions. They stated to go to a different address to check-in but there was nobody there. Issue was cleared up with a quick call. House was nice and AC was pumping when we arrived, nice after a long drive in 90 degree weather. Overall nice place to stay. The firepit area was a little unsafe with loose rocks around the pit.Overall great stay.

The house was as lovely and cozy as listed. Just what you would expect and desire for a quiet weekend in the mountains. The house was clean and spacious, and the firepit is always a nice, fun extra. The blankets to cozy up with a movie and popcorn was a nice touch. We have stayed at arrowhead lake for the last 3 years and you truly cannot beat the amenities for families and the fireworks for 4th of July are always a wonderful experience. If rating on the house alone I would have rated a 4. The low rating is due to the hosting and communication. The host was difficult to get in touch with in advance of the stay and did not respond timely or sometimes at all until the dates of our actual stay. When we arrived there was only one role of toilet paper in one bathroom and none in the one upstairs. They sent over more, but not till the evening before we left. We were not able to use the BBQ our entire stay b/c the propane tank was empty upon arrival. We were asked by the host to get a new one and be reimbursed. It was only when I stated that I did not want to be responsible for this that the host offered to have another one sent over, which never showed up. I think there is something to be said about being a good host and making sure everything is ready for your guests. But if you are looking for a lovely house and don’t mind putting some extra effort into your stay then I definitely would recommend.

The home was absolutely beautiful, it was clean. I think my favorite was the pool table. Love how the dining room table converts into a pool table. Overall, we had an amazing time. Would love to go back in the summer and enjoy their beaches and amenities

We had an amazing stay at Pocono Lake Getaway in Gated Arrowhead Community!. The open-concept living area was perfect for our family gatherings, and the kitchen was a chef's dream. The backyard oasis was the cherry on top! Highly recommend!This house is a gem! The modern design combined with warm, inviting decor created a truly special atmosphere. The location was ideal, and the house itself was impeccably clean. We'll definitely be back!From the moment we walked in, we knew we were going to love this house. The attention to detail is evident in every room. The bedrooms were cozy .

I planned a week long trip with my family during the 4th of July Holiday. We stayed in this lovely place on Arrowhead lake. The property was clean, updated and better than we expected. The surrounding grounds were also well maintained. The community was family friendly and offered a lot of amenities and family activities.

Wasn’t expecting much. But I was so wrong. A beautiful home/Chalet. Clean bright great atmosphere with perfect colors airy. It was wonderful. We definitely would stay here again. I especially loved the pool table. The loft with games to play. Close to the lake. On the quieter side of AL. We use to live at AL so it was nice to come home. It such a lovely home. Thank you for the use of your home.
