1 Good Life: Between beach & sound w/ pool

The property was clean with plenty of space. Great location.

Very small driveway. You pretty much have to back out onto Hwy 12. We had to leave a day early because they were going to close Hwy 12

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay this past week while at the outer banks. We stayed as a 3-generation family, and this property was everything we could have hoped for. As another reviewer noted, it doesn’t have the most up to date finishes, but that hardly mattered. The property was clean, charming, comfortable, and the perfect place to create memories with 2 grandkids under 5. The beach wasn’t more than a 5 minute walk, and the proximity to the grocery store made getting supplies during the week super simple. I’m a runner, and had multiple options for running routes each day. Cannot recommend this properly enough. We had an amazing time!

I love that there are so many little extras included. There's not only sheets on the beds and towels for everyone, there's toilet paper, and hand soap, and bath soap, shampoo, conditioner (for each bathroom), laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, dish washing liquid soap, paper towels, liners in every trash can... I'm sure I'm missing something! Wifi works great and all the TVs as well. We love the covered porch. Very comfortable house and only a 5 minute walk to the ocean. Love it!

The house itself was pretty and the location was great. However, when we arrived we quickly noticed the floors hadn’t been swept (it is the guests responsibility to clean the floors prior to checkout) so not only did the previous guest not complete the check-out requirements. But the “cleaning crew” didn’t check behind them. This was also evident with the old coffee grounds left in the coffee machine, old, popped balloons, broken decorations and leftover need bullets found behind the TV in the living room. There was also black mold noted in the upstairs bathroom. The top bunks did not have sheets on them, just the quilts. While cooking we found that not all the cookware had been cleaned. The stay was good due to the location and the presence of my friends. However, the “cleaning crew” needs work.

The common area is very spacious and makes easy sharing with family and friends. Close to the beach. Bring chairs and umbrella for the beach.

Home had a perfect location although not equipped with basic rental home items (beach towels, dish towels, pot holders, beach toys, etc).

Over all our stay was great. We did a walk through when first arriving and most of the outside lights were blown out and the kitchen sink leaked. I reported it and they were very friendly and fixed the issue as quick as they could. All staff and service staff were friendly and respectful. The location was not bad at all. Truly, the main complaint I had was the floors being dirty.

Large bedroom on second floor and separate kitchen, dining and living area all one big space. 3 bedrooms downstairs... perfect for this old guy taking his adult grandchildren fishing. Nothing ostentatious... but a very cozy, well maintained home... reasonably priced.
