Sarah's Cabin & Aunt Babbie's Cabin
Private, quiet and secluded, these two log cabins are restored pre-Civil War structures which were dismantled, moved from Virginia and rebuilt with modern conveniences. They may be rented separately or together.
Aunt Babbie’s cabin dates from about 1850 and Sarah’s cabin from about 1820. They adjoin each other and share a stone terrace so that they are only steps apart for easy access.
Sarah’s cabin has a stunning floor-to-ceiling raised stone fireplace, dramatic lighting, antiques and comfortable rustic furnishings, tiled bath with glass shower and heated floor, and carefully appointed wet bar downstairs which includes microwave, toaster oven and small refrigerator (does not have a full kitchen). The open room upstairs has a stone fireplace and half bath and sleeps 8 in two huge log bunk beds (doubles on the bottom and singles on the top) and one king bed. Rocking chair porch with twig railings. TVs and ceiling fans throughout. Washer and dryer. The cabins do not have internet.
Both cabins come with plenty of firewood included and access to children’s swing set and the creek where children will spend many happy hours building dams and looking for salamanders.
FOUR NIGHT MINIMUM STAY REQUIRED FOR THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY.

Beyond expectations!
This cabin is beautiful and is in a secluded spot hidden amongst the trees. We loved the porch and its rocking chairs, the garden, the dark night skies, and the super cool tree bunk beds with chalkboards! The cabin is not too far from the downtown area of Brevard, which is pleasant and quaint. It is a bit difficult to get to the cabin due to its secluded location, so make sure you arrive before dark. Also, we had excellent communication with the property manager, especially when we got a bit lost. We will be back with more people next time!
We had a great time at Sarah’s Cabin. The location is very private if you book the adjacent property. The cabin is perfectly rustic yet with modern amenities. Pleased in every way. Would definitely book again.
Consider adding a Know Before You Go section to your confirmation. It would be a shame if someone was disgruntled with this fabulous cabin because they had inappropriate expectations. Consider something like the following to your confirmation: - Wet bar has toaster oven, microwave, drip coffee pot, and blender. No kitchen. Plan for a counter-height fridge. - TV is via antenna; DVD player in living room. - Located on a gravel road. - Kids should bring water shoes or old sneakers to explore the creek.
This was the most amazing trip. Our kids will remember this time with our family for along time. We enjoyed everything about the cabins and the thoughtful amenities for us to have there that we didnt think of or need to purchase. This is such a beautiful cabin words cannot describe how beautiful and quaint it is. friendly
A fabulous experience for working class schleps who would otherwise not be able to afford this property The whole experience was seamlessly easy.
Loved that we could text a question and get a quick response!
This was a great private cabin. Sarah’s Cabin is spacious and beautiful. The private gravel road has a creek that is walkable distance. Property manager arrived without advanced notice which is ok but since I didnt know them, was concerned. Kitchen lights weren’t working but I did let property manager know when he arrived unexpectedly. Checkout instructions in cabin were different from ones received in email. Overall, we had a great stay. It was wonderful and we would return!
We loved Sarah’s Cabin! Great experience especially given the COVID circumstances.
Very nice, just we were looking for a couple of nights. Very charming. We might be reluctant to stay much longer than 2-3 nights, though, due to lack of adequate kitchen facilities. That said, it was perfect for our short-term needs and we'd stay again.
