Smelled so so good when we walked in, the house was fully stocked with everything you could need! All you need to bring is yourself, clothes, and food and you’re all set for the getaway! The house is within 10 minutes of a lake and you just need to pay $7 a person to enter, or if you drive about 6 minutes further there is a smaller lake area where you just go inside and pay $10 at the bar for them to open the gate for you to drive your car through.

Amazing quiet little property not too far from the lake and nice area! Hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with! Will be back

Pet-friendly! Wow! What can I say? This place is amazing. It’s a cute, little retreat. The owners really have thought of everything. It’s comfortable, clean, and just what you need for a relaxing vacation. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

The cabin was extremely clean and well organized. We enjoyed the porch and bbq areas. The pet kennel was very large and well built. We felt very comfortable seating on the bench with our pets. Would very much stay here again

What can I say? Had a wonderful time in this cozy property. Owners definitely thought of everything when it comes to amenities. House was clean, well kept and close to activities like parks for hiking. Would absolutely recommend to anyone to stay. Thank you for the nice relaxing weekend!

This is our second stay here - it’s exceedingly clean, tastefully decorated, perfectly located for lake fun and eateries. Plenty of parking for our boat/truck and my car too. The fire pit and bbq area is awesome with a small fenced yard for the doggos! It’s a perfect getaway!

The Getaway is just as cute as it looks in the pictures, and all the little extras--snacks, ear plugs, hair ties--they really thought of everything! Check in was super easy, the bed is comfy, and the kitchen had everything I could have wanted. The neighborhood was super quiet! All in all, a lovely little spot. Would totally recommend!

We were so happy with this listing. The owners really went above and beyond to think of all the little details one might need when away from home. All rooms and kitchen were fully equipped. The place was very clean and tidy and the owners were very communicative. We didnt bring pets but we even noticed a basket of bowls and bedding for the furry guests. The place was great!

It is a beautiful cabin. We had a great stay here. The kitchen was fully equipped.I loved watching the sunrise over the trees while having my coffee!

Beautiful Cottage, everything you need and more! The host thought of the details, down to small personal details. Hands down the best place to stay! It fit 3 people comfortably. The kitchen was way bigger then the photos, perfect for cooking. The grill and fire pit with lighting was the perfect enjoyment with a shop just a block down for all your needs. There was a grocery store close by! The front porch offered rocking chairs and a dining area to eat and relax! They even had a binder with all activities and things to do, so thoughtful !!! We will be booking again!!!

We had such a great stay! It was the first time we took our senior dogs with us on our getaway. The place was perfect for our pets! The bed was adjustable and very comfortable. Everything was so clean and the decor was really nice too. The weather turned cold and super windy so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake which just gives us a reason to come back. We are checking the calendar now for some good dates.

The home is very well maintained and very well furnished. Our family had everything we needed and really appreciated the added comforts provided throughout. We were more than comfortable and really did have a great time. The host was responsive prior to our set date and arrival. We would have done and explored more if the weather had been better, but it didn’t matter. We got what we needed- a little getaway.

It was a very fun, cute and functional rental. They everything there that I had forgotten to bring. They answered any question very quickly!!!! We will be staying there again!

Excellent stay!

This is a charming house with hosts who have a background in the hospitality industry. There were a dozen details that were so thoughtful. From the well organized welcome book, to snacks, tea and coffee, and a lovely bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal, including an air fryer! This section of the peninsula has a wide variety of houses from trailers in various states of repair to cute lake houses. We felt perfectly safe, but it wasn't the charming lake town we imagined. That said, we loved the house and our overall experience.

Great communication with host and cottage was cute, clean and had everything we needed. Convenient to the things we wanted to do. There’s a small fenced area if you have dogs. Would be nice if the back yard was fenced, making it easy to enjoy the firepit and keep dogs ( or young children) in proximity. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

The Little Getaway was amazing! Answered any questions I had very promptly. It’s a very clean and relaxing place to get away. The bed was very comfortable and it had all the amenities you would need. A very nice spot. I’m looking forward to coming back.

Check-in was a breeze. Very clean and updated inside and smelled great. Bed was super comfy and the property was great for our furry friend. We truly enjoyed the property with the fire pit and all the amenities. Will definitely do it again.

Wonderful home for two. Of all the VRBO’s we’ve done this was the best appointed. Good dog yard, too. Traffic noise a bit of an issue is only downside. Will be back !

Absolutely would recommend to anyone!!! Not only was the stay for us wonderful, but they also were accommodating for our dog and had a basket for him. Close to so many wonderful stops and extremely relaxing. We really needed this little weekend vacation and they did not disappoint with their accomodations.

We could not recommend this place more. It’s so cute and cozy, and it’s immaculately clean and organized. They have everything you could need for your stay. The furnishings are comfortable, beautiful, and thoughtful. The little touches are a pleasant surprise - like the phone charger in the kitchen, the ear plugs on the night stands, the complimentary snacks on the island. They even have special things for the dogs. We actually left something behind and the owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We love this and our experiences here could not have been better! You will love every second of your stay here.

We had a wonderful time on vacation at the getaway! It had everything we needed plus more! We have stayed at several VRBO’s and this was by far the best one! The home was very clean and smelled wonderful! If we are in the area again we will definitely stay again. Communication was great before the trip. Didn’t have any issues while we were there.They are the perfect hosts!!

Very cute little place. Was great for me and the mrs. Enjoyed the fire pit out back one night, a bit of traffic noise. But nothing youd notice from inside. Cutest front deck, and an optional gate to corral your little ones or furbabies built in. And the thoughtfulness of the small amenities makes you feel super welcome. Wish we could have spent a few more days, and will definitely be checking availability for our next visit.
