Even though the weather wasn’t on my side, with chilly temps and rain throughout my stay, this trip was absolutely incredible. Everything was cozy and inviting, and I still got to soak in the fresh air, take a peaceful hike down to the beautiful waterfall by the river, and just enjoy everything nature had to offer. I spent time reading, relaxing, and truly reflecting as I embraced turning 40.This stay was exactly what I needed to reset, find myself again, and appreciate the simple beauty around me. The host was absolutely amazing, so thoughtful and accommodating, which made the experience even more special. Rain or shine, my stay was pure magic. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be coming back!

Wild Blue Yonder is a treasure. Tucker in a hollow in Deep Gap, you can hear the mountain stream easily from the cabin. Beautiful setting. The road is gravel but very passable and well maintained. Great getaway for single traveler or a couple. The porch is primo.

Perfect place to get away from it all. Remote location forces you to unplug & unwind. It was a rainy weekend, but enjoyed hanging on the deck during the down pour and afterwards listening to the rushing of the creek below. On our last day was able to hike the creek to the waterfall with our dog. Suggest a walking stick. Also caught native brook trout in the creek. We look forward to returning. One change we would suggest: make the entrance/address sign at the top of the driveway a little easier to see.

Very cute and cozy! The creek is amazing. When checking in: if you’re coming from 421, Apple Maps will lie to you and say “you’ve arrived!” before you’ve actually arrived! Just keep driving! There will be a house number sign by the driveway.

A little piece of heaven. Such a relaxing area that I would definitely recommend. Driveway is really steep so be aware of weather conditions. Only downside is that there are no curtains on the windows. This is typically okay in such a secluded area but someone came down on their golf cart looking for their dog and saw me directly through the bedroom window. Felt a little intrusive.

Quiet,Secluded. So peaceful. Fell asleep several times reading my book on the wonderful deck. The sound of the running water in the creek in the valley just lulls you to sleep. Great experience and great property!

Beautiful location and a great place to getaway for a little bit. Our dog Skynyrd loved the water and exploring. My girl and i’s favorite part had to be the porch. It’s just perfect. Will be back, thanks again!

Me and my husband stayed for the weekend for our anniversary and it was the perfect place! The perfect, peaceful quiet place for a “unplugged” weekend getaway! This will definitely be on the list to go multiple times a year. The owners are awesome too so huge plus!

We came in after 13 hours on a 10 hour trip in a torrential downpour. At first it was difficult to locate bc of Apple Maps. SO JUST KEEP GOING… it’s there I promise. The access was very accommodating. We were able to get in and out, turn around was great. Our stay was cut short due to inclement weather conditions. But if you need a nice getaway quiet and secluded. I would recommend.

We loved the place the minute we stepped inside and took a look around. There is no WiFi or cable tv but that’s what makes it perfect. We will be back and our daughter already had a trip planned from hearing about it.

This camper is very secluded and private. It has been renovated very nicely and has all the amenities. It is located on a dirt road and my car is low so we had to drive very slow. We will absolutely book this again!!!!

We loved our stay in the wilderness in “wild blue yonder!” The location of the RV is perched along a magical wood line, where you can hear the soft rumble of the creek just down below. Theres a beautiful deck that is covered that looks down on the valley, and a morning coffee out here was perfect. The inside was modest, and three adults was definitely at max capacity, but the fireplace with chairs outside as well as the deck never made it feel cramped. No cell service on ATT, but the “unplugged” weekend was very welcomed! Would absolutely stay here again.
