The Park Bus BnB

The Park Bus was such a fun stay!! Exactly as pictured, beautifully renovated and so much attention to detail—we had everything we could’ve possibly needed for a comfy stay. Added bonus was the next morning when a moose crossed through the yard as we packed up! Definitely recommend!

This has been the best way we could have imagined to spend the last 2 days of our vacation to Alaska! We have relaxed, refreshed and enjoyed every peaceful moment!

This bus was the coolest experience. Well thought out and everything you need for a weekend trip or a few days away. You can literally just show up with clothes and food, everything else (including breakfast is covered). We stayed with 2 kids and they loved playing and staying here. We will be back again this winter!

Check in and communication easy. Host perfect. Such a cute venue and an amazing experience being in the bus very very comfortable and creative. Saw northern lights from the yard out front and overhead. Most windows face north. Fire pit nice to have had smores. Heater works great stays warm in cozy bed and inside bus regardless of temps outside was minus 20 Fahrenheit but inside cozy. Out house is only time you would be cold.

The host was super accommodating and responded to questions quickly. The actual property was amazing. The bus was extremely clean and so much fun. The amount of detail in every part (even the outhouse!) was so fun. Amazing experience all round

Experienced here what no one staying at a hotel closer to town could have: clear skies, 3 nights of spectacular light show, peace and quiet, privacy, adventure! The inner parts of town have a haze that impedes sky views, just from the car exhaust and higher population of heat producers. (Did I mention thatour visit took place during the coldest snap in 15 yrs with -35⁰ highs and -48⁰ lows?) Our hosts have created a well-appointed getaway! They thought of everything, and though we dont have littles, its hard not to see how much thought was put into ensuring littles would be entertained on The Park Bus. Wsrm and cozy with plush bedding and a safe space heater (and dehumidifier to clear those icy windows). Snacks, games... everything you need. Couples and (small) families with adventurous spirits: dont even think twice. This place is not to be missed. Thank you, Allison. Youve created a memorable experience!

We loved our 2 night stay in the schoolie! The kitchen was very useful and we made a few meals there. I do recommend bringing house shoes to walk around in as the floors are cold during the winter. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds we have ever stayed while vacationing. The decor, bedding, snacks, all were given great thought and much appreciated!

We stayed here our last day in alaska. The bus is awesome.

Husband and I stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon. Our biggest regret was not staying for much longer!! The bus was fantastic and a once in a lifetime experience! Will stay again!!! Thank you for sharing this amazing place with us!

We loved the bus! The bed was extremely comfortable (I am super picky because of arthritis in my back and hips and woke up with no pain). The bus was very clean and had everything we needed, including bug spray. The outhouse was not unpleasant, other than the mosquitoes. There is no running water, but plenty of water was provided via a dispenser over a sink that we used to wash our hands and faces and brush our teeth. The only downside was visiting in the summer it is light 22 hours a day, but we bought eye masks before we went and we’re glad we had them. The curtains did not block out much light. Overall it was a fun adventure and we are glad we stayed at The Park Bus. Also they have cute souvenirs for sale so take some cash with you.

Enjoyed this quaint and cozy bus with our two grandchildren ages 16 and 17. They loved getting a true Alaskan experience! S’mores by the campfire, card games and out house included! Extra touches by the host was a pleasant surprise. The northern lights even made an appearance! Wish we had had more time to spend here!
