The place is in an excellent location, with a great view out the back. The style of the place is great, as it was easy to get comfortable right away. Easy check in, friendly owners, highly recommend!

We loved Selkie. Stunning property with beautiful views. Spacious with comfy beds and room to sprawl. We enjoyed playing games and relaxing outside. The music and wine bar next door had great energy, 21+ only at restaurant/bar. We could walk to Alderbrook. Hope to visit again!

We were the 1st guests to this beautiful waterfront cottage home and it did not disappoint. The living room is extremely spacious with a wide-open floor plan, and the rooms and beds were very comfortable. Amenities were great. The design of the whole house aligned with the theme of calming waters, and it really helped you sit back, relax and enjoy the Hood Canal. While there aren't many options for food in the general area, this house is centrally located and easy to get places around town. The owners own the shop next door, and they were extremely friendly, accommodating and wonderful to talk to. While the house is adjacent to the shop and main road, it still felt pretty private. There was not really any road noise at all. The driveway to the house is a little gravel paved parking area located on the side of the shop, but easy access to get things in and out from the car to the front door. The access to the waterfront isn't fully landscaped, but that wasn't an issue at all. It's a nice easy entry into the water when the tide is right. The deck and views are great. It was such a great find that we ended up extending our stay and just spent a whole day hanging out in the back deck on a beautiful summer day. Absolutely I'd stay again!
