Welcome to the Eagle's Nest of Rock Hill Cabins. Although it is just a short drive right off of Route 555, we recommend a SUV or truck four wheel drive might help to get here! The last 75 yards of driveway is steep but I do take my car up it regularly. Nestled on the side of the mountain on a very private setting you will get the rest and relaxation you are looking for. Sleeps up to 7, this 40 ft park model has all you need and nothing you don't!
The Eagle's Nest is a 40ft park model with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and large deck! The primary bedroom features a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double bed and a twin bunk. The kitchen is stocked with your basic kitchen essentials. All linens and towels are provided!

The driveway up into the property is very steep and somewhat rutted—it’s rural and to be expected. Just be aware. So dark at night that (without turning on a light) I got lost coming back to bed from the bathroom—LOVELY! If you want peace and quiet—this is the spot.

Brrrring extra blankets. I guess I didn’t understand that this was meant as a hunting cabin for people much tougher than me. The only source of heat was a space heater and it was cold! Also the directions told me to follow the signs. The sign is too small and too far off the road, but we found it because it was daylight.

Very nice location. Clean except for some mouse turds. Located in the woods, and that’s where the little critters are.

Overall had a great stay. Had a couple issues and they were addressed and taking care of. Nicely secluded which is what we were looking for. Close enough to everything we were doing. Will definitely stay again

Clean, all items were provided, and detailed communication from host.I did have trouble with getting the WiFi to work, but also having no service just means more quality time with family.

The place was beautifully surrounded by all the colors of autumn you can imagine! We enjoyed many of the local things in the area to do but loved relaxing on the porch and sitting by the fire most of all! We were nice and cozy and we took our 2 dogs who also enjoyed the area and the squirrels and the deer that were quite literally in our front, and back yard while we were there. We sat at the table for breakfast Saturday morning and watched 3 deer walk right by the window and up the hill! It was so cool! Aside from a few minor things we noticed in the cleaning of the trailer, a few things we needed or could have used that were not provided (shovel to clean out the fire pit, vacuum, basic all purpose cleaner) and a little confusion about where things were and how to turn alot of things on due to no directions/instructions being left inside anywhere or any informational guides provided via email we have/had no complaints and were all discussing reutrning in the future!

We LOVED our stay at the Eagles Nest camp! Clean, private, and cozy!! The perfect location between St Marys & Benezettes Elk Country Visitors Center. We picked up groceries at Aldi (( 15 min drive)) and stocked up on food and beverages we would need, as the camp comes fully stocked with all your dishes, silverwear, and pot/pans. The full size refrigerator was great, as that meant we could stock up in one trip to town. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making smores by the fire pit. Our fur baby made himself at home. We hadnt seen him that happy and comfortable away from home ever. The Elk Visitors Center is about a 10 minute sceneic drive. Best time to see the Elk is at dusk. We went at about 6pm and saw a whole heard! We loved this little camp tucked away off the beaten path! Already planning our trip out next October, if not sooner, and looking forward to another stay at Eagles Nest! The hosts are fantastic! Even supplied space heaters for the cold October nights! Plenty of blankets, towels, and pillows! Clean! Smelled nice! I have zero complaints. The dau nefore checkin, the hosts sent us amessage about everything we would need to know for our stay. Awesome communication! We have a toyota highlander suv, so didn't mind the steep driveway others have mentioned being a drawback. We rather liked how it set us up and tucked us into the woods for added privacy! Can't wait to visit again!

No wi-fi as advertised, could not find the router. TV not used, could not navigate the set top box/TV without help. A cheat sheet left at the property for the TV use would have been helpful. Location good. Steep driveway as advertised on VRBO, but OK. Some folks will have trouble with the driveway without adequate ground clearance and 4 WD.

We had a great time, the accommodations were great . Only negative was the queen size mattress in the main bedroom was not comfortable at all. We actually took the mattress from the other bed and put it underneath the mattress in the main room to get by for the weekend. Other than that it was a great stay !
