Larsen, Wisconsin
Enjoy a retreat to Wisconsin's beautiful Lake Poygan. Stay in our brand new 2022 Salem Camper. The site comes with a boat slip with easy access to the lake where you will catch Walleye, Perch, Northern, etc. Or spend your weekend on one of the many sandbars located on the chain. Enjoy live music, food, and drinks at Boom Bay Bar which is just footstep's away. We provide a private fire pit, both a gas and charcoal grill, outdoor games like bags, we even have a canoe available on site for your use and anything else you may need to enjoy your camping weekend.
Great stay and location. Only negative is the parking. If you plan on bringing a boat, be careful pulling into the campground if you dont know where you are going.
Very small cozy campground, tucked back in the woods. We didn't have a great experience at the Boom Bay Bar and Grill but they did comp us a drink for missing our order and restarting our food after an hour. But the trip up the Wolf River on Saturday was amazing. So many fun places to stop, so many beautiful places to see. Camper offered what we needed for the weekend, just bring paper towels or napkins for meals, and bug spray, and you are set!
The camper was clean, fun, and easy to find with the directions provided. The door was a bit difficult to open/close as it seemed to have too much tension at the hinge (I'm not sure), but overall it was great!
Beautiful lot, new camper with everything you need! Host was so responsive!
Fun and quiet getaway. Great food at the Boom Bay Inn which is footsteps away. All of the neighbors are nice and friendly. Easy to put our kayaks in the water just steps from the camper. Host communicates extremely well!
Very good location, need boat or rental. Nice, comfortable, clean, very quiet. 5 mile away we have boat rental and have good time spent. Recommended!!!
We were traveling to Oshkosh for Airventure. This is within a reasonable distance from there. Very clean, comfortable.
I rested in this campsite with my wife. This is a very good place for recreation and fishing. I thank the owners for a wonderful vacation.
Reserved a camper to take my dad on a fishing trip getaway for his birthday. This was such a good location, and super comfortable. The camper had everything we needed to make the weekend go easy. We towed a 16 foot bass boat out there. Had no issues launching the boat, or docking the boat. The truck and boat trailer fit in nicely next to camper. The dock was like 100 feet from camper, and the launch was about the same distance. I think most of the other people camping at the other sites were there for extended stays. Everyone was super nice, friendly, and gave fishing advice freely :) super useful for such a large body of water. The owners of the camper are local too which is nice. About a block away, Boom bay bar and grill serves up delicious food, and the surroundings in the evening are quiet and peaceful. The beds are comfortable, and the bath and shower are high quality. We started the mornings off with some k cup coffees that were on site. If you're a city slicker like me you may want to bring some extra drinking water to make those coffees tastier :) oh there is also an ice maker :) if you are looking for a weekend getaway, maybe to see the EAA museum, or getting out on the water for some fishing, you can't go wrong with this hidden gem :) to the owners, thanks again for everything :)
We had a perfect stay. Looked exactly like photos. Clean. Perfect location. Very communicative host. Would recommend to others, would stay again.
The camper is beautiful. Very spacious. All the amenities were provided. The hosts were fantastic
