Years ago, when I was looking for a home on the island I came across this property. When I walked up the front steps for the first time, I entered into a peaceful little wonderland. Set up high on a sand dune surrounded by trees, this property is the perfect relaxing getaway. Set smack dab in the middle of town, it is walking/biking distance to almost everything in Emerald Isle. It is 1 block from the sound and about 7 blocks to the ocean.

Stayed Aug 7, 2025Truly one of the best places we could have chosen to stay for our first air bnb, we hope to be back very soon! Was only 20 minutes away from my family and we enjoyed every minute at the treehouse

Stayed May 30, 2026We really enjoyed our stay at this cute little property. The Tree House is in a quiet, sweet neighborhood. A quick walk to The Fish Hut (a MUST do) for dinner and Flipperz and Thirsty Surfer for food and music and fun. At night we could hear music from the restaurants when we were relaxing on the deck at the house. The outdoor shower was everything. The home itself is comfortable. Small, cozy, with the sun room and private deck...just what we needed to relax in the evening after the beach. Very comfy couch and beds. Very nearby and easy beach access (by bike or golf cart). There's not much else to say... great host, great home, great little town, beautiful beaches. I would happily return.

The owners reached out to me multiple times asking if I needed anything and was helpful in anyway they could be to make this stay for my son and his wife perfect.
