Nice place

This place was the best! You can tell that the hosts really care about you and your families comfort and needs. Especially the fur babies❤️ Carmen had water and food dishes already set out for our elderly dog Buddy. Everything we could have needed was already there. All we needed to do was buy the groceries we needed but best believe…every condiment, coffee and creamer, soap and shampoo, pots and pans, all the way down to the laundry detergent…it was already there waiting on us. The neighborhood and neighbors across the street were a delight. They even invited us over for a nice porch sit and cool drink on a hot day. One of them even took us for a ride in her golf cart down to the pier so our son and her grandson could catch shrimp and go crabbing together. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay or people to stay around. We were very comfortable and anytime I needed anything, all I had to do was let the host know. 5 stars all around from this family for making us feel like we were part of yours❤️

Host was great to work with. Love that they allow dogs for a very reasonable fee. Location was perfect for visiting family nearby. King bed was comfortable. We loved the big porch with the doggie gate!

The cottage was so cute and welcoming. Even though I didn't get to bring my dog, she would have had anything she needed. Host was so friendly..

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was clean & easy to find. We love the porch. We didn't go to the beach, it was a little too chilly. We did rent an ATV & also enjoyed time at the aquarium. Thank you, Carmen. It was a wonderful anniversary getaway!!

Carmen was a great host; excellent communication and easy to reach. She made every effort to make the space feel like home. Bathrooms & kitchen were well stocked and the space overall was quite cozy. I would definitely recommend her home to those traveling to the area!

Cutest little home! Very clean with all the amenities. Loved the front porch to wind down in the evenings. Short drive to all of Emerald Isle. Host was quick to respond and very helpful. Highly recommend!!

We loved staying at this lovely home for our annual family beach trip! My family stays at the campsite down the road so it was a perfect location! Carmen was a fantastic host and thought of everything that you would need during your stay! We will definitely be booking again next year!! :)

My husband, daughter, and I enjoyed a relaxing, quiet, long weekend at Under the Sea. The accommodations were just as listed! We had everything we needed and more. Property was clean inside and out, located in a neighborhood that suit us perfectly! So much attention to detail! Great communication with the hosts! Highly recommend!!

arrived on Friday night in the dark had a little difficulty finding the VRBO but was able to contact the owner and she responded quickly and was very helpful. Accommodations were nice and clean with lots of nice personal touches. would definitely recommend staying at this VRBO.

Extremely wextremely well appointed kitchen, super cute decor. The location is great, It's close to Newbern, Morehead city and the beaches. Carmen responded super fast to any inquiries and the beds were super comfy. The neighbors were super too!! We definitely would stay here again were were super comfortable

This is a great place to stay. Owners are great people and the property is in good shape. Neighbors are very nice. Owner has thought of and offers almost everything you might have forgotten at home for your beach vacation.

First of all, this home is super cute, and I loved the creative nautical touches. It had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing getaway. The kitchen was spacious and well appointed for those nights we wanted to cook in and relax. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfy, and the shower head in the master bath was amazing. We also really appreciated having a washer and dryer to keep up with laundry while we were there. The layout of the home was also perfect for having our grandson stay overnight on the weekend. We liked that his room was at the other end of the house and had its own bathroom. Of course, our favorite thing of all was the porch, which was such a great place to hang out. It had everything we needed to host our daughter and family for a Memorial Day cookout. Carmen is an excellent host and was patient with us, even when we arrived late at night and called her (and probably woke her up) because we had trouble initially finding the lockbox with the keys because it was dark. Thank you, Carmen! We really enjoyed our stay.
