Stayed May 9, 2026Took a little effort to find the place because it is located in the countryside but excellent instructions were provided, and well worth the short drive. We highly recommend this tiny house and would absolutely use it again. Clean, nice little kitchen, good air conditioning. Owners very friendly and accommodating

Stayed Jul 15, 2025This place was perfect for my family of 4 (parents and 2 kids). It was close to all we wanted to do on North Shore and kept us from having to be in the big city (Waikiki area). The hosts were so friendly and responsive. One of my kids even had an accident in one of the beds and they were kind enough to bring us some new sheets. This place has everything you need and the hosts are so generous to provide beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, a small cooler. They even had snorkel gear, sand toys, and surf boards. My kids loved husking coconuts and eating them fresh too (one of the hosts was on site performing some maintenance when we arrived and showed my boys how to do it). If you are wanting to live like a local and be in the country instead of the city, this is the place for you. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed Dec 16, 2023All recommendations had a personal story or touch that made it a unique experience. Even when at a busy stage of their lives Jansen and Sam took the time to explain with details how to move around the area and learn about coconuts and fruit trees. Loved the access to great beaches and native culture

Stayed Mar 12, 2026Jelly was super responsive and helpful. The house was clean and organized. The beds were super comfortable. The house is small but met our needs. It can be a little tricky to find at night, and is on a gravel road. However, we stayed during huge storms. Jelly and her family checked in on us, kept us updated with the flooding and situation. We lost power. But she made sure we had lanterns and offered a power bank if we needed one. It was a great stay!

Stayed Feb 6, 2026This one bedroom “tiny house” was a wonderful stay for us. We wanted a north Shore experience and that is what we got. The house was clean and well equipped, A/C worked well, and the owner was very accommodating and easy to reach. This house sits on it’s own lot and is very private and secluded for sure

They came by to introduce themselves and showed my husband how to husk the coconuts while also giving us a little history! It’s a private tiny home in the quiet countryside with everything you need. we were here for 8 nights and wish we could stay longer! We will stay here everytime we return to the island. Thanks so much again!

Stayed Dec 6, 2025Jelly is welcoming and responsive. She takes pride in maintaining the home. The location is ideal for activities on the north and east sides of the island. It was secluded enough to be away from traffic noise yet close enough to be convenient to get to the main road. It was a home away from home providing comfort after a fun filled day of hiking, beach going, eating and touring. We appreciated the welcome binder listing activities and food to try. We would stay again.

Stayed Sep 11, 2025A lovely, clean, well designed Tiny home just right for a night after traveling. Especially enjoyed the fruit trees surrounding the home in the morning and view of taro and mountain. The story of how the home came to be, the history of the property and the owners’ “love story” was great to read about. Made me appreciate the land even more!

Stayed Aug 31, 2025A nice little oasis for a low key stay on Oahu. The space was perfect for the two of us. We could enjoy the living space and the bedroom offered comfortable accommodations. We appreciated the air conditioning that worked great. The property has had modern updates and was as clean as expected. I appreciated the clear directions to the property as it is tucked away and secluded in a beautiful country setting. It was perfect access to Laie and Kahuku and easy to drive to and from the other bigger cities on the island when we wanted to. I am certain I will return to this quiet country retreat. Other travelers should know this is a perfect Hawaii country home. If you're not a country person, you might not fully appreciate this gem of a property.

Tucked away and very private, the sounds of nature are everywhere, chickens grazing in the front yard, and every tropical fruit you can imagine is growing all around the property and is ripe for the picking. The inside of the house is quaint, simple, and had everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and everything was spotless. The location is minutes away from some of the most incredible beaches in the world and is a great central location for exploring northern Oahu.Highly recommend staying here. Once we arrived, we found a book with plenty of suggestions of things to do and places to eat. The accommodations were very nice, great clean beds and a nice bathroom. Open living area with a small kitchen and refrigerator if you felt like staying in. Wifi worked, A/C, and tv if you desired too. Stayed May 9, 2025The property is pretty secluded down a private road with a rock wall around it. The mini home is actually pretty spacious with accommodations for 4. The bathroom is beautiful, the rooms were cozy, the bedding was clean, everything was really wonderful. I’m kind of a weird girl and we got to see some snails on the exterior of the house! (I thought it was cool. I like seeing things like that.) I wish that I had reason to stay longer because I would! If I’m ever in need for a place to stay and im in the area. I hope this place is available! The property owner was curious and communicative. They sent me easy to follow notes of tips and rules and they were quick to respond when I reach out about leaving my charging cord there! This stay made my trip that much more special and I’m endlessly grateful for the experience!

We love the authentic vibe of Hawaii with mangoes dropping on the roof and the chickens all around. One suggestion is to maybe mark the entranceway a little bit more visibly as it was difficult to find the first time even with detailed instructions. Stayed Dec 25, 2024This property ended up being perfect and very comfortable for our family of four. The AC worked amazingly. The host was very communicative and even wanted to meet us, however, it was our fault we didn’t make that happen as we really only used the house as a base camp and were not there much other than to sleep and shower. The neighborhood is unique, but we had no problem finding the house. We had zero problems during our stay. It was great! Mahalo!

Stayed Nov 1, 2024We had a wonderful stay at the Tiny Home! Sam and Jansen were communicative and kind hosts. Even while expecting a new baby, they took the time to meet us and make sure we had everything we needed. When we mentioned that the Wi-Fi was slow, they called the internet provider immediately and we had very speedy Wi-Fi within minutes. The space itself was clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the two quiet and powerful AC units, the great water pressure in the shower, and the gear provided (beach towels, beach blanket, snorkels, fins, boogie boards, cooler, and more). The Tiny Home is very accessible to all things North Shore. We had a wonderful time snorkelling at Shark's Cove, watching the performances at the Polynesian Cultural Center, relaxing at the quiet beaches, and enjoying the various food trucks. The home is surrounded by lush greenery and is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. We absolutely adored our stay at the Tiny Home and it was a great way to experience Hawaii for the first time. Highly recommend!
