Stayed Jul 27, 2024Very convenient, quiet location. Well equipped kitchen. Facility needed a little care (several light switches that didn’t work, loose/difficult lock on main door, cabinet door kept falling off) and could use a little more cleaning. Nice to have some space though for a long weekend in a beautiful area.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Such a cozy place to stay and conveniently located. Linda the other was very nice as well. Everything was clean and had plenty of amenities. We were able to grill outside and cook inside. There’s a tv and games to enjoy some downtime. On the way home my husband were already talking about going back in the fall. I highly recommend this place. Where else can you see a mama deer with her two babies right outside your window?

Stayed Dec 24, 2025Wonderful location for us -- close to 3 rivers and 3 beaches, so many things to do! We stayed in winter and it was very pleasant, not freezing or snowing. The accommodation itself is very cozy and homey, the proprietor is clearly detail-oriented. Everything works as expected. Proprietor lives on property so easily reached if needed, she checked on us when we arrived which was appreciated, as safety matters to us. Highly recommend, we are coming back and bringing friends as there is another small accommodation on site. Thanks Linda! 3

Stayed Sep 5, 2025This was a nice place to stay equipped with all the necessities. It was mostly clean but tables and chairs needed a more thorough cleaning , like under the arms of the kitchen chairs. Our biggest concern was the locking of the doors. The key didn’t work well in one door and we were told you have to jiggle the key and if that didn’t work use the keypad door. The keypad door had a problem too and we were told by the owner to not worry about it since it was a safe area.

Stayed Jul 7, 2025This place is located in a fantastic area! It is quiet and very close to the beaches we visited. Rialto and Lapush beaches are under 10 or 15 minutes drive away, and Ruby, second, and third beaches are also under a half hour away. The Hoh Rainforest is about an hour from Blue Spruce Meadow, too, and shopping for groceries in Forks was no problem, as that too, was only minutes away. In short, you just can’t beat this for location at a reasonable price.Linda was a kind and responsive host. We had a problem locking the front door and she came right down to help us with it. Also, there is. Cabinet door with a broken hinge in the kitchen, but it wasn’t a big deal to us. There is a good sized dinner table and another small table in front of a window. This was the perfect set up for planning and taking notes for our adventures. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom and bedroom were adequate for our purposes. We were there to enjoy the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula by being close to and hiking in the forests and beaches. If you love to ride pool at low tide, this is the place to stay because of its proximity to Rialto and other beaches. Yes, some things could be improved, but overall, we were pleased with our choice and would stay here again.

Stayed Jul 4, 2025Perfect fit for the couple/family on adventures to the beaches nearby. Super convenient location, the rental shares the lot with another rental unit behind (lots of private space still) and owners up thw driveway (good distance away). Theres a laundry room equipped with everything u need and the home is perfectly equipped. Only note i'd make is, we are AT&T customers and didnt have any reception halfway down La Push Road, so have your maps to the place downloaded. Keep it in mind, the blue spruce supplies free wifi which makes up the lack of reception except when you head out to the beaches

Stayed Jun 10, 2025We appreciated the central location of this VRBO unit for access to many adventures on the Olympic Peninsula, mainly in the National Park. The unit was on many acres and set back from the road so it felt very private. We prepared almost all of our own food so we appreciated the kitchen that was well supplied with pans, silverware, utensils, dinnerware, everything. And we appreciated that there is a good well stocked grocery store in Forks.

Stayed May 29, 2025The property was nice but not very private. The property shows to have a washer/ dryer which leads one to believe it is in the unit. There is actually a shared laundry in a separate building with another rental unit. We enjoyed the location just down the road from Rialto Beach. The bed was very soft and comfortable. My only suggestion for the property besides more privacy, would be, a dishwasher in the kitchen and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. It was a good stay and we would stay there again if in the area.

Stayed May 17, 2025We enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and the location was great for what we needed. We didn't realize that the washer/dryer wasn't in the actual unit but was shared in a separate building. It ended up working out fine, just something we had to figure out. We had a little trouble with the lock on the sliding doors, but my husband ended up getting the hang of it, I had trouble with it when I tried. Other than that, we had a really good stay. The area is amazingly beautiful!

Stayed Sep 14, 2024We stayed for 2 nights. Quiet and private property fully equipped and clean. It was an easy ride to LaPush and Rialto Beach with Forks for shopping. Wish we had stopped at Hoh Rain forest before checking in since it was further south. We had trouble with the lockbox and had to work at unlocking and locking the door. Also, would suggest some directions for the TV/vcr. Overall a pleasant stay.

Stayed Sep 3, 2024We had a great stay at this VRBO! The location was nice as it was quiet and private. It was also very close to the beaches we were visiting in the national park! The bed was comfy; however, we did have some trouble with the laundry detergent/scent booster used on the sheets and pillow cases as we both have pretty sensitive allergies. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Stayed Sep 8, 2024Overall stay was okay. Good location for viewing sights in Olympic Peninsula. We arrived after dark and were confused as to where rental was. Finally saw a sign. House looks different, painted gray, not white, as in photo on listing. Inside was pretty much as listed. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed, good kitchen space and bathroom, comfortable living room. Several things need fixing, as mentioned in previous review. Several light switches didn’t work, kitchen cupboard door isn’t attached properly, washer/dryer was not available when we needed it, blinds in bedroom were broken off, Wi-Fi info is different from info online. Communication was the biggest issue - questions were not answered in a timely manner if at all. Not sure why. Online listing needs to be updated with new photos of outside and new Wi-Fi info. Also check out instructions are needed.

Stayed Jul 22, 2024Super cute place. Full kitchen with pots/pans/cooking utensils so able to cook breakfast before heading out to adventures. It was a super nice touch having all the Twilight movies on blue ray to watch in evenings. The only negative comment we have is we texted owner regarding lock box about two hours before checkout with no response back whatsoever and why giving it a four star instead of five stars.

Stayed Jul 16, 2024Traveled all over from Germany and booked this location because it is close to the Pacific coast and just 4 1/2 miles from my most favorite spot - Rialto Beach (where I used to be often during the time I lived in the Seattle area). Arriving, I was sincerely impressed: The Blue Spruce Meadow mobile home is very clean, everything is in great shape. Kitchen very well equipped, full sets of dishes, tools, appliances - all almost new and/or well maintained. If you love BBQ - On the patio, there is a gas grill available. The camp fireplace on the huge lawn makes the right outdoor feeling. Everything one needs in the bathroom is there. Nice furniture- nothing is worn out or damaged, everything looks like new. Ms. Middleton is a very nice host, and it is obvious that she is passionate to accommodate her guests well. The entire house is set up with taste and love. Despite the quiet, some might even say - remote - location of the property, Internet is sufficiently fast and stable. And at night - just sit on the porch or next to the campfire and breath in the quietness, the silence. A big Thank You to the owner of this wonderful place.
