Had a wonderful time
My grandson and I had a great time fly fishing. The cabin location was perfect for enjoying this hobby. The cabin is smaller than it appears in the pictures, but it did not affect our enjoyment. The outside deck was fabulous.
Great location, good fishing and very quiet. Stayed here to fish the area and the Tuckaseegee for 1 night. Wonderful cabin and excellent fishing nearby. Really enjoyed it! Hope to go back soon.
This was a wonderful, cozy home with a great outdoor space and relaxing view of the river. We saw a bald eagle fly overhead and there are a pair of beautiful geese that camp out on the island in the middle of the river - a mama goose and her mate who guards her wel. It was the perfect place for my son and I to spend time after our fly fishing excursions. Although we couldn't fish in March right in front of the house, it was a quick trip over to Cherokee and into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We found a few good spots and enjoyed our time together and hope to do this sometime next year. The home seems like it's way back in the Boonies when in fact, it's maybe a mile or so to cute downtown Dillsboro with shops, a brewery and several great restaurants. The IGA grocery store is about 1/4 mile past downtown Dillsboro on the left and has just about anything you could want. Perfect place to get away from it all, yet be close to the necessities!!
Totally awesome location . there we're baby geese to watch.able to trout fish right on location caught six trout rite up the river me and my wife had an amazing experience.will definitely go back
Great quiet spot on the river right across from The Fugitive crash site! There are 2 other cabins very close, but the occupants were quiet. Very close to town! We had a rodent problem that went unaddressed by Vacasa...it is difficult to get in touch with Vacasa. If this property had been managed by a local owner/operator, the rodent problem would have been taken care of right away. Instead, we had mouse droppings all over the kitchen counter/sink for 2 days without any help from Vacasa.
Loved the nature scenery and the family of geese that hung out with us. Absolutely lovely cabin and the deck overlooks the river.
Place has a great view and very clean. Beds are difficult to walk around. We had a great time. Good communication with us about unit
The view was amazing and it was very peaceful and quiet.
Spent an entire day just watching and listening to the water passing by the deck. Such a great place to recharge your batteries and convenient to lots of good restaurants and great shopping.
