I am very grateful to LaVern for his warm hospitality in making my family feel so welcomed in staying in his rv. I enjoyed meeting and talking with him, and I was very excited to have my first experience staying in an rv. The location is very peaceful and serene in the country, and I delighted in hearing the cows in the nearby pasture. It was also just a short 5 minute drive into town, so the location is great. LaVern was always great in communicating, and I would definitely stay here again next time we visit! The rv was very comfortable. With the couch, table and chairs and driver and passenger seats, there was more than plenty of seating available. My family and I were very blessed on this trip, and we are very grateful to LaVern for all of his warm hospitality. I gladly recommend a stay here and would be delighted to return again. Thank you again for everything! God bless!
It was nice and quite there.
This was perfect for 2 folks for 2 nights. LaVern & his wife Rachel live on the property (not in the RV!) & were very responsive to questions. The RV is parked in such a way that we sat for entire evenings just watching the cattle & horses on their & others' land. The area is peaceful, quiet (w the exception of a couple of hot-doggers who gun it down the road) and of course, shared with Amish families. As of now, LaVern does not stock soap or shampoo for the shower, but he helpfully picked some up for me when I saw there was nothing there. They have foaming hand soap & dish soap but bring what you need for bathing. I did not cook one meal as was my plan, but I saw pots & pans & several utensils. There are zero leftover spices/oils the way I often see in other rentals so also bring whatever you'll need for cooking. These are good, decent folk and the RV is a good, decent place to relax and lay one's head down.
