Stayed May 19, 2025Could have been cleaner and some fixtures need a little tlc. Dining room chairs had covers over to disguise poor condition. Door to decking had big gap at bottom and was difficult to shut. Kitchen tap was leaking. Hole in living room rug. Hole in living room wall covered with sellotape. Kitchen cabinets were dirty. Previous occupants hair left over bedroom dressing table and drawer under television would not open. We felt a good deep clean would help a lot. Other than these shortfalls, the lodge was spacious and had a great location.

Stayed Apr 21, 2025Stayed for 4days with my dog felt very safe as a single taveller location is beautiful very relaxing and tranquil. Many places of interest and lovely beaches nearby

Stayed Oct 13, 2023Stunning lodge everything what’s needed was init. Decor was lovely. Bedrooms very comfortable. Location was spot on could not ask for any better was right in front of the lake that we fished all weekend. Was no need to take flask with us as me daughter could just pass us a cup of tea over. Fantastic for the dog as he sat watching us on the massive decking. Shop. Swimming pool and bar just 3 min walk down the road that the girls enjoyed. Definitely look forward to coming back it’s not far for us only 45 min up the road but just a lovely break thank you.

Stayed Nov 18, 2022The accommodation was excellent, clean, comfortable, attractive. As we arrived when it was dark, it would have helped if there was better well lit signs, and numbers on the lodges. Our arrival would have been so much better if there had been a brief information sheet on using the boiler, the fire, the hob, the wifi . We sorted all these things out, but it could have been so much simpler and quicker. There could also have been a note about using the key fob to access the site in the evenings. Also, the booking information did not make clear that the bed was kingsize, so the double bedding I brought with us did not fit.
