What a great house for our work event! 13 bedrooms so everyone had a space to go to when needed but lots of common areas to enjoy visiting with one another. A very full kitchen with everything you need. Highly recommend for anyone having a family get together or small work retreat.

Only complaint was that the stove top wasn't working very efficiently.

This was our 4th year staying in Carol's beautiful property. The properu is beautiful and so well kept. Super clean and comfotable. The pripery is so well-stocked so it makes it easy for us to cook for everyone. We always come away feeling relaxed after visiting and adore the lovely guides she leaves for us, such as the forest trail and meditations. We highly recommended the property and out kind host.

Fantastic location and amenities for a family reunion! We were in awe at how many rooms there were here, and seating/eating areas for a group. The beds were comfy, SO many bathrooms and showers, house was well appointed, and the grounds were lovely to explore. We plan on booking our family gatherings here every year now. Carol was so welcoming and helpful, thank you for sharing your wonderful VRBO!

Perfect for our large family group to celebrate Dad's 90th birthday. Carol was accomodating with the needs of the elders in our group.

We loved this house! We rented it for my parent’s 50th anniversary. We had six couples with varying ages of kids. The space was wonderful! We were able to make some great memories. I highly recommend this location for the space, location and host.

We brought some of our Jr. & Sr. High youth group to stay at this amazing retreat center and we had such a memorable time. Our youth can't wait to come next year.

Lovely is the best way to describe this location. Well designed to comfortably fit and feed a large party (we had 22 including adults and children and could have easily fit 4 more people. Well appointed, comfortable furnishings, authentic to the location... not new or fancy but well maintained and fully stocked. Good size kitchen, plenty of dishes and supplies. Place for children to run around and kick a ball, play basketball or badminton, or swing on the various hidden swings. The yurt was great for a sleepaway for the kids. Good access to various beaches up and down the coast. Great, generous hosts. I highly recommend this place. We had a lovely, week-long stay.

Plenty of space and lovely accommodations. We trekked through the woods on the hiking trail, walked the labyrinth to serenity, made all the sweet s'mores we could handle, and enjoyed the beautiful beaches. What a wonderful space to reconnect with God and each other. Blessings!

Beautiful spacious retreat center. Great for family gatherings. Owner is gracious and easy to work with.

House is huge. This is probably the only house I’ve been to that had lots of things in the kitchen such as pots and pans, utensils, and just the plain necessities. Quick access to beaches. Had a great experience and would return again.

Easy beach access, wonderful spacious accommodations. Plenty of room for group meals and activities. Fairly close to Ocean Shores, a market, several drive out beaches. Pleasant surroundings, roomy patio, fire ring with rustic seats. Just a fun experience Wonderful Hosts!!

Our group of 20 men have stayed here two years in a row and will be back for a third most likely!Carol is great. The property is great. Convenient to Ocean ShoresHighly Reccomend!!

Our women really enjoyed our stay. Most thought it was too short. They especially liked the upstairs layout with the kitchen/dining room/living room so spacious and so much natural light from all the windows. The kitchen was very well appointed with pretty much everything we needed. And the weather cooperated! Definitely a place we'll return to.

Ms Carol, Is so wonderful and thinks of everything. The house is completely stocked. There is plenty of space for a large group for resting crafting learning cooking anything you imagination can think of.This was our 4 year and we are already planning our 5th here.

We enjoyed the retreat center for the second time. Plenty of room for group meetings and individual quiet time. The yurt was fantastic for yoga.

Plenty of room for family. Areas for different activities.

This is our third stay so we obviously enjoy it a lot. Only thing was a musty smell on the lower level.

Sorsum Corda was GREAT for our staff retreat. Plenty of sleeping options with private and shared rooms, and an extremely well equipped kitchen. There was even a high chair for our 1 infant in tow. Will return!

Been staying here for 5 years with our family

It's our 3rd year hosting a board game retreat at this lovely property. Carol is very kind and the property is gorgeous. Everything is extremely clean and very accessible. The house is stocked so well with everything you would ever need for a visit.

We had a great time with our four generations of family! Very spacious with room to spread out but to also be together as a big family. The amenities were great and we have a wonderful time. I'd recommend this to any large group looking for a comfy, large and affordable place!

Sursum Corda housed this year's family reunion, about 20 adults and 2 children. There was just enough space for us. A few of the one-person bedrooms did not have windows but were cozy and small fans were provided to create air circulation. The building itself was clean, simple and cozy. The property available to guests includes 2 fire pit areas and a lovely 1/4 mile loop walk tthrough some very serene woods. The proximity to the beach was great. The beach was clean, wide, and with fine sand. It was one of our best reunions yet.
