Step into your cozy home away from home - a centralized hub to all that the Adirondacks have to offer. Country-chic meets cottage lake house in this thoughtfully detail-oriented space that boasts privacy, comfort, and serenity. The Lodge at Lakeview is your ideal destination to take in the crisp mountain air and the beautiful surroundings of the ADKs with an escape from the daily grind, offering all the amenities and pampering of a hotel, but in a fully-furnished, private residence.

The Lodge at Lakeview is in the heart of the Adirondacks and at the center of main attractions such as Lake George, Lake Placid, Gore Mountain, Whiteface Mountain, Bolton Landing, and Saratoga Springs. The breathtaking views of the Adirondack Mountains offer a variety of pleasures for all the seasons:

Adventure awaits during the Spring, with the Adirondacks boasting over 2,000 miles of hiking trails, as well as routes for canoeing and kayaking. If you dare, take on the wandering flows of the nearby Falls and rivers; or visit the Wild Center, home to over 900 live Adirondack animals, and immerse yourself in awakening the first blooms of Spring, along the campus' 115-acre Nature trails. Adirondack railbike adventures are also a Springtime favorite for those who like to explore the ADKs more uniquely.

The summertime in the Adirondacks is bustling with excitement as families head up to the lakes of the Adirondacks to relax lakeside at the family-friendly, Public Town Beaches of Schroon, Minerva, Loon, and Lake George; many offer lifeguarding and some the use of kayaks, pedal boats, and canoes for exploring. The Lodge at Lakeview is home to 2 kayaks and life vests ready for guests' use. Bring your boat, or rent one daily from one of the local marinas, to enjoy water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, or fishing. View fireworks by night at nearby Lake George or hit the downtown for the buzzing nightlife. Explore local attractions such as flea markets, farmer's markets, summer concerts, and park square dances.

In the Fall, leaf peepers and hikers alike enjoy the crisp mountain air, and the breathtaking views of the ADK mountains. Antiquing, hiking, restaurant/brewery/winery hopping are among the favorite fall activities for guests. After a day of adventure, gather around our fire pit beneath the most crystal clear, starry skies that you will ever experience, before retreating to each cozy bedroom to recharge for another day of ADK adventure.

During winter, enjoy snowboarding or skiing on one of the many mountains. Snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sled tours, and ice fishing are also favorites among travelers. Visit the charming and historic downtown of Lake Placid, home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics, and visit the cozy restaurants and lodges along the way. Return to the Lodge at Lakeview to put your feet up and relax, while warming up by the fireplace.

This beautiful and newly renovated space provides comfort and convenience, after a day of Adirondack exploration. Cuddle up in front of the fireplace after a long day of skiing, or enjoy an early summer morning cup of coffee on the screened-in front porch. The interior, open-layout welcomes an atmosphere for entertaining, and for families to gather and make memories. With an assortment of games for all ages to enjoy, you're guaranteed to unwind and connect.

A mere 2 miles away lies the town center, catering to all your Adirondack vacation needs with its assortment of bars, restaurants, gift shops, cafes, and the infamous Towne Store. Conveniently accessible are skiing, snowboarding, hiking, golf, tennis, snowmobiling, boating, kayaking, antiquing, and much more. While a car is necessary to explore the entire area, our home is just a short distance from Main Street, offering abundant choices for your enjoyment.

The Lodge is under a half hour to Lake George, Bolton Landing, and Gore Mountain, and under an hour to Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain. In surrounding small towns, you will find other hidden gems. This area is a home for adventurers, and relaxers alike, offering many of your favorite winter and summer sports and activities. We love our furry friends and cannot imagine family trips without them! We welcome dogs to our home (2 max at a time) which would require refundable deposit after the cleaning crew concludes the home was left in original condition. We have a document outlining Pet Rules that will be sent via the messenger at the time of booking.

This house was perfect for our long weekend getaway by the lake - and was walkable to town! It was very clean with a well appointed kitchen and was very comfortable for our group of 4 adults! Our hosts are super hosts for a reason- communication was great and very easy check-in and out process. We definitely plan to come back and stay again! Thanks again to Jessica

The home had everything we needed: kitchen supplies for 8 people, front & back decks, outdoor firepit (for s’mores and stargazing) with plenty of indoor space for privacy and for gathering. A great choice for our Schroon Lake vacation, with thanks to our hosts who were available for all of our questions plus good info on the area.

This is a really great spot: very welcoming, bright, lots of beds, 3 bathrooms, fireplace, and great location.I also really appreciated all the amenities in the house. All the things you wish were there when you need it: iron, children stuff (Pack n Play, bath, etc), well-stocked kitchen (coffeemaker, pots and pans, cutting boards, bowls, plates, mugs, silverware, etc)

Our stay was wonderful. The house is really well appointed, clean and everything was labeled! The town of Schroon Lake is cute and has enough good dining to keep a party satisfied. We didn't partake of the lake as it was completely frozen, but the house is 45 minutes to the high peaks area of the ADKs and 30 minutes to Gore. Pharoah Lakes Wilderness is right next store too. We just may be repeat customers!

Schroon lake is our favorite place to stay for our annual family ski trip. The cute little town on the beautiful lake is a little off the beaten path but close enough to enjoy the winter festivities in Lake George and top notch skiing in the Adirondacks. This year we rented the Lakeview Lodge and our family of 5 has voted it the best place we've ever stayed. Comfort and convenience are two qualities that immediately impress. Minutes from downtown and directly across the street from the lake, small town lake life was easy to fall in love with. The house feels like a warm hug inviting you to relax in its embrace. We have three 13 yr old boys who each had their own chill space. The loft was the perfect place for them to play games and hang out. The kitchen had everything we needed to spend time together cooking our favorite meals and our legendary nacho platter while watching the super bowl (this yr the nachos were way better than the game!). The primary bedroom suite is adorable! We loved having our own little hide away. The owners, Jessica and Ryan were super accommodating and responsive. They have created a beautiful home you won't want to leave. 5 Stars from 5 happy campers!
