Majestic Lodge only 22 miles from the base of Pike's Peak

We loved this property, it was isolsted beautiful view and the lodging was beautiful. It accommodated our large family very comfortably we cant wait to return..

We hosted our small wedding here and it was A DREAM. Before you even get there, Tiffany was incredible with answering questions and allowing us to see the property ahead of the big day. She even sent the landscaper over on the weekend to do any last minute touch ups. The amphitheater, the bar, the dining hall, the spa, the entire set up of the house was perfect! We had 44 guests including ourselves and we fit in the dining hall and other areas perfectly for the flow of the day. 12/10 recommend having your small wedding here!!

We hosted an intimate wedding at the lodge and the views were incredible. The size of the lodge was perfect for our needs and there was plenty of space on the property for all of our guests and wedding needs. There were multiple doors wide open upon our arrival and the cleaning of the property could be improved in general. We had great communication with the property manager and overall it was an excellent place to host our dream wedding.

The property is in an excellent location. We loved our time with family and had plenty of rooms/bathrooms for all 19 of us. Deferred maintenance, with broken vacuums, kitchen disarray, heavy cleaning products, and worn furniture. We did enjoy the property and would like to return if a bit of love is added back. The property had much to offer in space, outdoor hikes, hot tub, large farm tables, beautiful surroundings and fairly close to Colorado Springs for outings. Would we stay again? Yes....

We stayed here for our recent microwedding, and it was absolutely perfect. The space was beautiful & spacious —- plenty of room for us and our small group to relax and celebrate. The views were stunning and created the most peaceful backdrop for our special weekend. On top of that, the host, Tiffany, was incredibly responsive and accommodating, which made everything so easy and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend the thunder butte lodge!

We had a wedding at this beautiful property. The house and grounds were amazing, perfect for an intimate wedding with enough room for 50 people. We catered food and they had no issues getting to the grounds. Highly recommend this property for any event. We had a wonderful time and management was quick to respond to any questions we had! There is also many things around the home that we were able to use for decorations.

The outdoor space was stunning and the home itself was gorgeous, cozy, and well-appointed. Despite the weather, the setting created such a magical, intimate atmosphere that we couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop for our special day. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, making everything easy and stress-free. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a charming and peaceful retreat with plenty of character!

This is a great property for large groups in a beautiful setting.

My family, a group of 21, with ages ranging from 6 to 70 years old thoroughly enjoyed the lodge for our Christmas holiday. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas with 3 large Christmas trees and a few smaller trees around the house. The spacious lodge was perfect for our large group and the amenities offered were such a nice touch. The house had beautiful views from every balcony. Our family was concerned about visiting Colorado in the winter due to cold temps and snow but the lodge was equipped with hydronic flooring which kept the over 7,000 sq ft home warm and comfortable. The host was very helpful and always responsive. This family trip was a success largely due to the lodge!

The property is remote and beautiful. Plenty big for my large family. It's a beautiful home with a ton of amenities that we thoroughly enjoyed. Loved the big dining area. It could use a pantry in the kitchen however with some more of the basics like thin foil and Saran wrap. The extra refrigerators were wonderful and the bar downstairs, away from the upstairs bedrooms allowed the adults a place to play while the children slept undisturbed. The toilet in bedroom 6 was broken and the tub didn't drain. There are leaks in one of the on-suite bath sink and shower upstairs as well. We still enjoyed our stay very much.

This VRBO is awesome!!! The actual property itself is amazing. The views are spectacular. The rooms are way nicer than the photos make them seem in my opinion. The dining room makes eating eggs and bacon feel luxurious, and the whole home in general feels both fancy and homey. We hosted our small wedding of 40 people here and it could not have been a better venue. The thing that stuck out however was Tiffany’s support. We had 2 feet of unexpected snow and Tiffany was gracious enough to stay in communication and help us with plows. Not to mention helping with our 101 questions leading up to the wedding. I highly recommend this property and the management.

Middle of nowhere. Exactly what we needed.

We had our wedding here and were able to have the entire wedding party stay in the house with us. The entire weekend was perfect! The house manager was always reachable and very helpful to any questions or concerns. The views were amazing and the house was gorgeous. We loved being able to stay here and have our wedding in a setting with amazing views. The house let us use their tables and chairs which helped so much! Definitely recommend staying here for your next family gathering or small event. There is also no AC in the house, which I was concerned about at first, but the weather was beautiful all weekend (70-80s) and the evenings were chilly which allowed for a nice breeze to come through the windows and balcony doors at night. If you’re having a wedding/party/event, the pub was a big hot spot for us. We all hung out downstairs and played pool every night. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Thank you to Tiffany for being such a great host!

This house was the perfect house for 5 couples and 2 singles to celebration 2 big milestone birthdays. Everyone had their own space and there was also great areas to spend time as a group. We absolutely loved everything that this house had to offer and would definitely go back.

Our time staying at this house was amazing. Our guests loved it. The house was extremely clean and tidy. It was very large and accommodating for so many people. The views are beautiful. The house is beautiful. Everything from the check in process to check out was so easy. Tiffany was a great communicator the entire way and made our stay perfect.

We had a small get together at this property and it was amazing! Breathtaking views and had everything we could need as far as amenities. Definitely would love to come back!! Property manager was helpful and communicative.

Host was very responsive. The space was perfect for our large family with plenty of room for cooking, games and just simply time together!

Our stay was great! We enjoyed the big rooms and spacey house. There are more stairs than we anticipated, but nothing extreme.

Our family reunion was a hit with all who attended. We are thankful we had a meeting location that could house some of us as well as have the rest of the family there. That being said, the listing is not clear about the event fees that will be imposed if you do have more than the stated 23 guests staying in the house and

To say this was my best VRBO stay to date would be an understatement. As my future wife and I planned our wedding, the host Tiffany, could not have been more flexible or more helpful in the wedding process. Tiffany recommended excellent vendors (great for someone coming out of state to get married) and ultimately just remained available for questions and concerns as we planned our big day. We had guests ranging from 2 years old to 70 years old and everyone had a great week enjoying the beauty of the Thunder Butte Lodge. Would recommend for any large get together. Our wedding experience was truly unforgettable, thanks in large part to the spacious and accommodating house we chose as our venue. The back patio was transformed into the cutest reception area, with string lights creating a magical ambiance for our evening of dancing. The house’s amenities, including the hot tub, sauna, and steam shower, were perfect for relieving the stress of organizing our big day.
