Stayed Jun 27, 2025This property is amazing. It’s not just a house, it’s an experience. It sits as a peaceful country home with plenty of entertainment both inside and out. Ping pong, pool, board games, toys, puzzles, cards for rainy days. Hiking trails, tubing in the Yough River, investigating the creek critters, feeding and brushing the horses, swinging, swimming in the pool and soaking in the hot tub round out the outdoor activities without ever leaving the property. This was our sixth family trip taken across the US with our kids and grands 25 total, My parents joined this time so ages ranged from 84 - 9 months! We fell in love with the hostess, Lynn, who is filled with the gift of hospitality. This is the first time we’ve considered returning for a second time

Stayed May 30, 2025Our wonderful host Lynn has provided EVERYTHING needed for a wonderful family group stay. This is an amazing property for all ages. There is so much to do, in any kind of weather. We had a rainy day and there are so many indoor things to do - a pool table, board games, ping pong, hot tub (outdoors by the pool ).. it goes on and on.. The kitchen is beautifully equipped. The setting by the river is beautiful and peaceful; services are not far away but from the property no other houses are visible. It really is your own private haven.About 30 minutes drive away we enjoyed the mountain town of Ohiopyle where we rented bikes to bike along the river. So beautiful. And right on the property there is a beautiful, level hike along the river. In warm weather Lynn has tubes, etc to use to enjoy the river.We highly recommend this property and the very nice and helpful Lynn.

Stayed Dec 25, 2024Wonderful in every way.The property, the house, the host, the location, the river, the horses, the farm dog, the hot tub, the way everything is provided and every switch and drawer / door is labelled - it's been a fantastic way to spend a few days with a large group of family and friends. No complaints at all.

Stayed Jun 7, 2024Our experience at Stillwater Haven was incredible. Everything you need is there, just pack some food and clothes and you will feel right at home! There is so much space and the views of the river are fantastic! 10/10 experience and can’t wait to come back again!

Stayed Dec 29, 2023Property idea for large groups with many sleeping options. Gathering area and kitchens (2) ,one held 20 easily at the table. Everything uou need as far as games books movies and most importantly outdoor activities. Owner was beyound helpful all neede met, prior and during stay. Recommend Highly

Stayed Aug 16, 2023When Lynn tells you not to overpack, please LISTEN to her. She has everything and then some. The kitchen was a dream to cook in. Finally a rental that can sleep 25 actually has a stocked kitchen to cook for 25. She has more towels in the bathroom than Kohls has on their store shelves. We have found our forever rental that checks off every box for our needs for a four generation family to have a relaxing get away from jobs, stress, and just enjoy peaceful family time making memories that are priceless. Book it, you won't regret it!!

Stayed Aug 5, 2023This vacation home was better than any other we've experienced. The great rooms and family rooms were huge, and a lot of the bedrooms were spacious. Plenty of room for our family of 23 with space to spare. The cousins had a great time in the river and in the yard. This host is wonderful, she worked through any little glitches or questions we had, and even handled a major failure with very little inconvenience. She had everything we wanted, and even a couple of things we didn't expect. You should have SIX STARS. We highly recommend Stillwater Haven and hope to return.

Stayed Jul 28, 2023Best property we have ever stayed at. The accommodations are fantastic as well as all the amenities. Plenty of activities, toy’s & games for all age levels. Beautiful lakes & parks in close proximity so there is always something to do.
