This cabin was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 17 children (age 3-17). The bunk room and 3rd level game room was great for the younger kids while the lower room pool room and ping pong rooms were great for the older kids and adults. We enjoyed fires in the large great room fireplace which made the room very warm and cozy. The multiple bath rooms were very convenient.

The views were spectacular! The home had a cozy feel with a great layout to accommodate everyone's needs. Lots of games and fun was had by all. The driving directions were cute and helpful. The host replied promptly to a few things we needed assistance with. I highly recommend this home for a getaway!

The cabin was very spacious worked well for our family. The description of the beds to me was not very accurate. The twin beds were actually pull out twin beds, no cribs were found but thankfully we didn’t need them. The furniture in the main living room could use an update. It was not easy to get up from. Also the deck on the main floor banister was wobbly. There were no seasonings at all, not lighter for starting fires in the pit or fireplace. Overall it was a nice place.

The place was beautiful, directions to get there and the one way road very steep, and difficult to navigate with directions provided. Plenty of room! View was amazing!

We had a wonderful vacation. Incredible views of Blue Ridge Lake from this terrific property. My grandsons are begging me to rent it again next summer. They loved hiking on the trail that was right next door and cooking smores at the fire pit each night. We fished and rented a pontoon boat at the Marina. We visited the local wineries, breweries and a fantastic apple orchard where we all got to pick our own apples. I am still eating them. The town of Blue Ridge is a real jewel with excellent restaurants and fun stores to shop in. The whole family loved the train ride up to McCaysville and Copperhill. This was a great time for everyone.

The cabin had plenty of room for our family. The beds were very comfortable, the view was great. The cleaners didn't prepare the property as well as they could have....seems like maybe they were there a while ago, but not the day before our arrival.

We enjoyed our stay however, the listing didn't provide information about how steep the hills were and that it would be hard for some vehicles to get up the hill. The house was as listed plenty of space to lounge and fellowship.

We loved this place! The lodge was spacious, well stocked with everything we needed, and clean. The views were absolutely gorgeous. There were plenty of hiking trails around the area and a trip to the cute downtown was only a 20 min drive away. The owner was very nice and responded to all our messages promptly. Will most definitely plan to stay there again in the future.

The place was magnificent in size. Room for everyone, but it is in terrible disrepair. The beverage fridge, the coffee pot, the toaster, all broken. The ceiling fans are all on the same frequency, so when one room turns off the other two floors go on. This went on all week. One burner on the stove was out. There are spider webs inside and out, not cob webs, actual spider webs. Bugs everywhere. Garbage disposal doesn't work. The outside railing is dangerously rotted and lose. The footers around the porch are rotting. The exterior doors have huge rotted holes in them. There are makeshift repairs that are also rotting. The house is beautiful but in need of many safety and cleanliness repairs. Also note, you will need to bring your own tv service, the tv's are not smart tvs. Overall we had a wonderful time with our large family. The safety issues should definitely be addressed.

5/5 Stars – Great Family Getaway! We had a fantastic weekend at this property! After reading some earlier reviews about cleanliness concerns, we were a bit cautious, but we found everything to be in good shape. The house was tidy, comfortable, and had all the essentials we needed for our stay. There were a few cobwebs outside, but given that it’s a house in the mountains, it felt like a natural part of the setting. It didn’t bother us at all. The outdoor area was lovely, and we enjoyed spending time on the deck and around the fire. The views are unmatched. All in all, we had a great time and would happily return. If you’re looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway in the mountains, this place is definitely worth considering!

This cabin is nice and has so much potential if owned by someone who cares. As previous reviewers in recent months have stated, this property needed cleaning. Upon arrival, my party found spiderwebs in nearly all interior doorways and stairwells that had to be cleaned by us. Even worse, there were mouse droppings throughout the kitchen. Upon notifying the owner of the issue, he said the cabin is in the woods and cobwebs can pop up overnight. He conveniently ignored the rodent issue. The next morning we asked him to call us as we found more mouse droppings on the kitchen counters along with a hole in an unopened bag of chips from a mouse chewing its way through. To make a long story short, he refused to call us for the duration of our stay even after numerous requests. After sending photos clearly showing the mouse droppings on the counters and the hole in the chip bag, he still refused to acknowledge a problem. He audaciously accused me of trying to work the system for a discount and insinuated that we might damage his property somehow because we were unhappy. The following night, a mouse came out from behind the fireplace in the living room while our party was sitting there. We took a video of the mouse and sent it to the owner who still refused to respond. We set out mouse traps and caught one of the mice. I sent photos of the mouse we caught to Victor. He never acknowledged the problem, called, or apologized for accusing me of lying. In short, renters BEWARE!!

The house fit our group great. There was plenty for the teenagers and kids to do in the game rooms while the adults relaxed by the fire. It was beautiful inside and out and had all the amenities that we needed. The drive up was a tad long but the scenery and many deer made it worth it. We can't wait to book it again!

The cabin was nice, but we did have bug issues. There were also holes that were in bottom of back doors from rot. This is a wonderful cabin, but it is need of an update to structure and furniture. We had a great stay and made the best of our time there but were overall disappointed in the state of the cabin.
