Stayed Nov 21, 2025The house is gorgeous with plenty of room. I’ve stayed at several ranches, and this is definitely one of the best houses and back patios. Lots of room to visit with family and friends, and not be stacked on top of each other. Host is Very easy to deal with, and check in/out process was simple. Will definitely stay again

Stayed Aug 29, 2025Absolutely amazing! Wow so grateful to have found such a beautiful, serene, expansive, fun place! So perfect our large family to gather, hang out in the rocking chairs on the deck looking at the gorgeous view of the lake, kids jumping off and fishing from the dock, kayaking, cooking in the outdoor kitchen…Everything from top to bottom was ideal. The rooms, beds, bedding, bathrooms all very clean, cozy, roomy, comfortable. Loved every room having a bathroom. Everything we needed in the kitchen was provided. Mostly the overall energy of the property is peaceful and tranquil. No complaints. Loved every minute! We will have memories we’ll never forget!!

Stayed Oct 25, 2024We did a team building work trip to this place and it was just awesome for a large group. I always try to find a place that will hold us all and this was a perfect fit. Look forward to many more trips to this place.

Stayed May 24, 2024Beautiful property! Private lake , all the kids caught and released small perch and they loved it , saw deer and a large Elk with huge antlers! Kayaking , swimming and games inside the home , we usually have to go pick up stuff but this place thought of everything so didn’t have to leave! Family time in this 13 bedroom and 13 bathroom lodge ! We loved it ! Hope to be back!

Stayed Mar 10, 2024Bear Mountain ranch is undoubtedly the best lake house you get within 3 hours of travel from Dallas. The place is serene with Lake view and access to kayaking, the house is well planned with lot of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate large groups and families, kitchen has the best in class features and lot recreation options. Huge living areas for family games and backyard grill and cooking station overlooking the lake is fantastic! It doesn’t get better than this. Host Trey and team were wonderful, overall a place you would look forward visiting quite often with friends and family.
