The house was great, nice and clean, had lots of space, and everything we needed for a weekend away. The host Holly was awesome, super responsive, helped us with where to find snowmobile trails by the house, and gave us ideas of other events to go to around the area!

House was very clean. Kitchen was equipped with quality and abundance of cookware and dishes. Grandkids had fun playing ping pong and they loved the loft. Comfortable living room.

I was unsure that you could get to the other lakes on the chain. The little river (in some areas) is a little shallow but I was able to take my 17 1/2 foot fishing boat to all the lakes. We had a good time. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay. Check-in was super simple. The space was perfect for our family. The access to the lake was perfect for my mom who has trouble walking. The water surrounding the dock was perfect for my 11 year olds to play without worrying too much. It is shallow, but not too shallow to be fun. The ping pong table was a great source of fun and competition. The only drawback we really noticed was the refrigerator was a bit small for our family of 8. The work around would be to just buy a couple days worth of supplies at a time. Otherwise, even when we thought we may have an issue, the manager came out very quickly to be sure everything was resolved and ok. So very happy with this property!

Check in was fine. The deck is not suitable for very young children. The railings are too far apart and a child could fall through. The chairs on the deck are rusty. 2 were fixed with locks. An adult sat on another one he felt it was unsafe. He turned it over so no one else would sit on it. reported to us the furniture was thrown all over the deck. The dryer takes 3 cycles to dry clothes. There were bugs on the bathroom floors. The bedrooms were dusty and had cobwebs. The biggest issue was after we checked out we got multiple texts from the manager saying we had moved the toaster and did not put it back along with other pans. Quite honestly it is often difficult to remember exactly where each item was located. We did our best. Labeling of cupboards would help in the future. They reported the pans that had gone through their dishwasher were greasy. She complained that we used all the beds when we had 9 people insinuating we had brought extra people which we had not. There was a broken chair when we got there. I did not think to take a picture and send to the manager because we rented in good faith. We were accused of breaking it. If you stay at this property make sure you record and take pictures of everything in the house, every carpet, piece of furniture and location of every item. The location and lake were fine. I pwould never rent this property again

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. The water was warm for swimming. There's plants growing off the sides of the dock but off the end is a sandy bottom for swimming. We caught some pan fish off the dock. There was plenty of room for everyone in the cabin. The basement rec room was great for the kids. There was firewood for us to use for campfires. We appreciated the AC since it was a hot week! The host was wonderful.

The VRBO is on a more peaceful 5-lake chain in Sugar Camp. It was beautiful. The house is a great size for a group. We could’ve fit more than the 7 adults we had. It was a great base to go into Eagle River on some days, and to go out on a pontoon we rented from Dan Towne, who we highly recommend! He even dropped the pontoon off for us at the house’s dock! We also loved going to Pitlik’s right on the chain. Great atmosphere and bloodys! Great place to stay!

We loved the lodge! The kids had a blast fishing and watching wildlife during the day and playing ping pong and board games at night. The layout is perfect, and the outdoor area has a perfect view. Holly was amazing to communicate with when we had questions (she is very knowledgeable about the area). Could not have asked for a smoother experience:) We will be back! A!

Quiet, relaxing, comfortable and convenient stay. Well equipped kitchen with all one would need making meals so easy. Games for kids and room for them to run and fish. Convenient to Eagle River, St. Germain, Minocqua without excess driving. We all enjoyed our stay very much! Holly, the property manager, was excellent. She was helpful, courteous, friendly and was available at all times. She made our stay even better! Thank you. Rick and Kathy Oshkosh

Pros: on a chain, so other lakes to explore, situated in a sweet little bay, well stocked kitchen for cooking with next to everything needed I could imagine (even had Ziplocs bags, laundry soap, etc), many beds, as advertised, great grill, excellent property manager who communicates well and in a timely manner, decent Wi-Fi (important in an area where so many cell carriers don’t work well) Cons: living room could perhaps use a bit more lighting but part of the nature of a log cabin, ping pong table could use replacement, but great for young kids, musty basement and beds a bit hard for my liking, checkout list seemed a little intense with charges listed at first if items not completed but after talking to the property manager, I realized they’re just trying to take care of business. The rule about not chopping kindling indoors gave my sister and I a good giggle. I guess it’s people that make us create these guidelines! I’d book again for a nice family Northwoods retreat!

Everything was as listed! Loved the proximity to the lake. The pier was awesome. The fire pit worked well, and they provided plenty of wood. We even had a great time hanging out in the basement when it was raining. I would definitely come back.
