Dancing Horse Farm in Windham: Spectacular 9 Bedroom Home, 30 Acres, Ski Lodge

Super communicative host, super hospitable and helpful. House was perfect for our group of families who love to cook and play games after skiing! Windham for the win!

The house was perfectly clean and so very comfortable. And the host was very responsive. EXCELLENT experience all around!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had a group of 22 people, ranging from adults, to teens to toddlers. There was so much space and rooms for all our families to fit, and the house had everything that you could need. Greg was a great host, very responsive and very helpful in making sure we were comfortable. I would recommend this house and we would all love to return one day.

From first contact to check out, Greg was an outstanding host and Dancing Horse Farm was the best space and property for our team retreat. Easily slept our 22 person group with space to spare. Having done these trips in the past, I can say that Greg's property is better equipped for cooking for a large group than any other property we have stayed at. The Blackstone grill was ideal for taco night and pancake breakfasts. The bonfire, the great family room and ample seating made perfect venues for bonding, meals and our annual trivia night. Thank you Greg!

The property was clean, well organized, and equipped with everything to accommodate staying of a crowd. The property was beautiful, amenities were plentiful, and host was very easy to reach via message. Kitchen appliances, sound system, bed, shower room, and living room, everything was pleasant.

My job had a wellness retreat (30 people) and it was the perfect location for it. Everyone fit very comfortably in the house, and it was so clean and comfortable and well stocked with towels and all other items. Greg was very responsive and pleasant to work with as well. Very peaceful location, and we will likely return next for next years retreat!

My group was blown away by this home! The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, cookware, and servingware, and there were easily enough beds and space for our group of 17. The property is sprawling and beautiful, just as pictured or better. Communication with the host was the best I've ever experienced - he was so accommodating, helpful, and proactive (we never met in person). Hope to return someday!

Large home with everything you’ll need. Plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, fridge space for a large party. Bedding was nice, with plenty of extra blankets. Greg was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions quickly. We would definitely book this property again.

We had 4 families stay here over Presidents Day weekend. The house was great. The living area on the main floor is big and flows into a large kitchen - the kids took over the game room downstairs and stayed in the bunk rooms.It is a short ride to Windham Mountain and easy to drop off/pick up people at the mountain. There was plenty of firewood and the house had pretty much everything you need. Would recommend to any large group - and hope to be back next year to do it again.

Our group of nearly 25 adults and children had a fantastic time! There was plenty of space for our entire group. We especially loved the large gathering areas both upstairs and downstairs. The bunk rooms were perfect for our kids to sleep! The home had wonderful little touches that you don’t always see in a rental - custom Beekman bath products and signature mugs and wine glasses with the dancing horse logo! We will absolutely be returning to this gem! Communication with Greg was also wonderful! A quick ride to Windham and Hunter make this a dream for a family friendly ski vacation.

We had an amazing stay - and Greg was absolutely phenomenal with communication - especially with providing information on plowing during a snow storm while we were there. The property was gorgeous and just a few minutes away from Wyndham Mountain. The property was very clean and huge for the great price. We were able to have a wellness retreat and the amenities were great!

This is a wonderful property for a multi family get away. There are a ton of bedrooms and the house is well stocked with needed amenities.Greg was great to deal with. He was very communicative with instructions for the house. We definitely would like to book this property again.

We went with 3 families (kids 4-14) and had the best time !! Great house for a group. We were 18 total. Awesome location. The kids loved playing in the snow and visiting with the cows! The grounds were really beautiful. The house had plenty of room. The bunk rooms were awesome for kids. Upstairs master has a tiny room a one single bed off of it, perfect for a toddler or baby. Two living rooms for multiple sports game watching. Short drive to the mountain and restaurants. We even brought food fromHome and grilled steaks one night. We had an awesome time !!

We had another fun stay at the Dancing Horse Farm! The house has been upgraded with a new stove and other amenities. Huge home, to house several large families. Very well maintained and clean. We also visited the near by town for coffee and a nice brisk walk. Overall great time and look forward to coming again!

A Big House has enough rooms and beds. Had mostly everything needed, and owner able to answer questions and solve problem in time. the backyard and forest would be better view in spring or summber.

We were party of 28 and we all had a blast house was amazing, every little detail has been thought of. Greg is a wonderful and extremely helpful host we are already planning another trip to this house.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and its owner, Greg. Communication from start to finish was seamless. We were a family of 14 adults and four children (6, 2, and 2 infants). The location is private, and the backdrop is nature at its finest. The stables were a big hit with the children, who would venture there several times each day to check on the horses and cows. The home layout is perfect for large groups as everyone has their own space without rooms being above anyone. We especially enjoyed the first floor with the pool table and other living room with a TV and a door to ensure the excitement of the sports from the guys did not disturb any sleeping babies upstairs. The decks are great for enjoying time outside for a bite or a cup of something to drink. There are numerous firepits on the property as well, which we made sure to enjoy. I would highly recommend visiting here if you are lucky enough.

The property is so so good for large groups. Compared to other large bnbs, this house feels so much more set up for big groups, with a full kitchen and plenty of space. Greg is an awesome host! I highly recommend this space 💕

We had a fantastic stay at Dancing Horse Farm, despite some wild weather, because Greg went the extra mile. The house is perfect for a large group. The Kitchen/Living Room area is large and open, so our group could be together in one place, even during a rainy day. The deck, patio, and game room gave us room to expand without feeling separated. And there were plenty of sleeping spots and bathrooms, so everyone was comfortable. Unfortunately, we lost power during our stay due to the effects of Hurricane Debby, and it didn't come back on for 24 hours (which was unusual for the area). It was particularly problematic because the property's water comes from a well with an electric pump. Our host, Greg, went above and beyond to make us comfortable. He'd already stocked the house with candles, flashlights, and spare batteries, and directed us toward them as soon as the power went out. Then he bought a generator, drove it up to the house, and spent most of his day Saturday installing it, connecting extension cords in the meantime so we could charge phones. He brought coolers and ice for our perishables and 5gal buckets so we could flush the toilets with water from the stream. Our group has rented a dozen plus properties for our annual weekend, and I can honestly say we've never had a host as attentive, generous, and upstanding as Greg. Now that the house has a backup generator, power outages won't be a concern, but our situation proved that Greg is a top notch host!

This was the perfect place for my family to convene for the weekend. There was plenty of space to converge when we wanted and separate when we wanted. The house is well stocked with everything we needed and the area is absolutely gorgeous.
