Casita de Canon is a beautiful space perfect for a couple or singe person. With easy access to both the Town of Taos and Taos Ski Valley, it makes a great home base. Just 3 minutes to the historic town of Arroyo Secco, 16 Minutes to The Town of Taos and 15 minutes to Taos Ski Valley. The casita features a Queen bed and an attached bathroom with a spacious shower. The kitchenette offers a mini fridge, microwave, two-burner electric stove, tea kettle and a drip coffee maker. Well stocked, you will have a full set of dishes, silverware and cooking utensils as well as pots and pans with a simple dish tub and strainer to assist with clean up in the bathroom sink. A unique fold down table and two chairs allow space for eating or taking a few minutes to address work in between your adventures.
This casita shares a covered portal (one parking spot) with the main house where, from time to time, the most incredible family of 3 (and 2 dogs), come to enjoy the serene property. A true desert sanctuary at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, enjoy relaxation and rejuvenation without missing out on all of the amazing activities this beautiful area and town have to offer.

Our team is local and lives in Taos. We are available to you at any time before and during your entire stay! Messaging is often the easiest way to get a hold of us and is available 9am to 6pm MST daily. If you experience an emergency outside of our normal business hours, including: no heat, no water, lock out or other major home issue, please contact us immediately via phone.

This casita shares a covered portal (one parking spot) with the main house. Parking is to the far left when you pull into the portal. Look for the parking sign on the post at the back of the portal. There is additional parking in front of and to the left of the casita in the dirt parking area.
Traveling to and around Taos via vehicle is the best option for full exploration potential. Public transportation is EXTREMELY limited in our small town but there are still many amazing things close by to explore! There are very few Uber/etc. drivers in town, but we do have a few less common and unique options available. Please inquire ahead of time if you are looking for specific transportation needs to and from Taos and while here.
During winter months, AWD vehicles are recommended for the area. If you will be venturing into the mountains and Taos Ski Valley, 4WD or AWD is often required to access these areas.

Upon booking, we also offer access to full conciergerie services, everything from private chefs, pre-made meals, meal delivery, grocery delivery, transportation services, massage therapists and more. In an area where normal delivery and other services are not readily available, we can provide for your every need. We can assist in booking dinner and spa reservations in some of the best and hard to get establishments Taos has to offer. We are also available for top recommendations for all outdoor activities and the gear needed to enjoy every adventure Taos has to offer: Ballooning, plane rides, rafting, biking, climbing, horseback riding, snowmobiling and so much more.
