Benezette is the ”Elk Capital of Pennsylvania” and is located in the heart of the state’s wild elk herd, now numbering nearly 1,400 majestic animals. The best spot to start an elk viewing adventure is at the Elk Country Visitor Center on Winslow Hill (which is across the road from our property). The Mt. Zion Historical Park near Benezette is a beautiful and quiet place with an honor walkway and Civil War, Veterans, and Boy Scout memorials. The nearby Quehanna Wild Area feat

Stayed Oct 7, 2025Place was nice but the microwave didn’t work on Saturday but mysteriously worked Sunday morning. They only supplied a 1/2 roll of toilet paper. Usually when you stay two days they give you two rolls. The upstairs was a little disappointing because you couldn’t stand up. Had a nice stay other than those couple of things.

Stayed Oct 17, 2025It suited my purpose. Tucked away but close to visitors center. Had everything i needed for cooking but i had to buy TP & extra garbage bags. The bed are in the loft which you cant stand up.I may use again.

Stayed May 1, 2025We had a much needed weekend away , the place was comfy and cozy .Bed was very comfortable and great water pressure . Area was quiet and not far from places we were visiting .

Stayed Mar 21, 2025This was the first time my hubby and I came in the winter/spring . We always come for rut season in the fall. We brought our side by side and the stay at this property was great ! Very clean , location was perfect .Had everything we needed. Actually while staying we booked your camper that’s next door, for when we come back in September ! The owners were very quick to reply if we had any questions .

Stayed Oct 2, 2024The house was fine, the location left some to be desired. I read in an earlier review about someone leaving a radio on during their entire stay. Guess what, its still on and blaring all day and all night. The owners of this cabin were very easy to contact and accommodate what we needed.

Stayed Sep 25, 2024We stayed for three nights and the elk were bugling! Love that Benezette music! We also took in Bucktail Overlook, Dents Run viewing and Winslow Hill viewing. A great time and the cabin was great!

Stayed Sep 23, 2024The cabin was clean and the location was fantastic. The living area, 1st floor bedroom, and bathroom were adequate. However, there is no way this property should be advertised to accommodate 4-6 adults. Sleeps 4-6 is deceptive at best. The upstairs bedroom has limited headroom, and the steps are steep and narrow. A large adult would not be able to access bedroom.
