Came in for the races in Crandon. Close to town but still very peaceful. Great people everywhere we went.

We stayed here about 5 years ago and t&e listing was unassuming. The place is large and placed on a picturesque farm that the Lumberjack Special train runs past. We enjoyed waving from the porch to everyone. It was my aunts/uncles/mom's first time on the property and everyone was so impressed and want to return too! Thank you for a lovely stay (again). ?

Great place!! The kids very much so enjoyed the yard. The train was so cool they loved waving to all the passengers. My son personally liked walking down to the bridge to fish. Such a great place. Would definitely go back. Found out some great memories also. Turns out my dad would spend summers at the house and holidays. He had some pretty great childhood memories.

The lodge was extremely large and had plenty of room for my family. It is next to the railroad tracks, but we barely even noticed the train when we were there because it runs on a very limited schedule (I believe 10am to 3pm Tuesday thru Saturday) and didn't bother us at all. The lodge is set back in the woods, on the farm and it's very quiet, especially at night. Catherine and KJ were extremely accommodating and easy enough to reach if I had a question. The only negatives were that it could've been a little cleaner in certain places like under the beds and I was told that my hot spot is probably better than the WiFi they have to offer which was unexpected. I had planned to work a bit on my downtime, but that proved difficult with no solid online options. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and were satisfied with the accommodations. Thank you again KJ and Catherine!

This property was wonderful for all of us -adults, kids, babies and a couple of dogs. There was ample room for all of us to chill in the living room together as well as a big yard with a great fire-pit which we enjoyed in the evening. We had a barbeque one night using the big grill in the screened in porch. The porch was great because all of us could have sat in there had the weather been bad. The owner was very good at communicating , responding almost immediately when I asked any questions. The location was nice. Set out of the way on a farm. The manager KJ lives in the farmhouse next door. He welcomed us warmly and assured us that he would be right next door if we needed anything. The steam-train runs right in front if the house. That was a thrill for adults and kids alike! Across the tracks there is a little petting zoo and an interesting museum on the history of logging in wisconsin. Basically a huge, rustic out of the way destination. Nothing fancy but highly recommended for spacious family accommodation.

The house located on a working farm was ideal. The kids loved the animals, especially Duke. The timber museum and train ride were an added bonus.

No instructions for the tv. Smoke detector started chirping during the night. Asian beetles in the window sills and under the beds. No hand soap in the upstairs bathroom. The dryer stopped working and the breaker switch had to be reset. Every time we plugged something in there was a pretty blue spark. We will say every time we Called the manager he was very prompt to reply.
