Houseboat located in the beautiful Kittery/ Portsmouth Harbor

My family and I found the space perfect for our getaway.

The boat was fully equipped with everything that is needed for a weekend event. Loved the area for our first time house boat experience. We had a problem with the electricity and heat which required us to reach out to the emergency text number that was provided. No one got back to us so the night and morning was a bit chilly. The overall experience, we will return!!

The location was excellent - walking distance to Kittery and Portsmouth. The property is well maintained. The roof deck provided excellent views of sunrises and sunsets. Overall, a great stay and highly recommend.

We love staying on the house boat! This was our 2nd time and it never disappoints. The location is also fantastic and we always have water front view. I highly recommend it.

This was my third year staying on a houseboat of Suzanne's and I can't wait to return next year! The Reef is perfect! It's layout and size is perfect for me, but it has two bedrooms and two bathrooms so four could stay there comfortably as well. There are four places to sit and eat and a nice big comfortabke couch and one comfy chair in the living room area for hanging out, watching TV/streaming. The wifi is very strong. The boat was spotless and there were plenty of towels, T.P., soap, shampoo and conditioner provided. The shower is very good size with plenty of hot water. The kitchen has everything you need. The bedrooms are roomy and the beds and bedding are very comfortable. The gentle swaying of the boat at night is wonderful for a restful sleep. The top deck is THE place to hang out and watch the boats come and go with the bridge going up for the taller ships. So cool the engineering of it all. The deck chaises are comfy and if you want shade you can sit under the umbrella at the table. The stern deck is also lovely to sit and have your coffee on. I loved watching and listening to the terns and cormorants. The Reef is a fantastic homebase for exploring the area in New Hampshire and Maine. So much to see and do! It's breaktakingly beautiful! Suzanne is an excellent host! I highly recommend Reef for a quiet, fun and unique getaway! The marina is small and very quiet at night with only 1 other houseboat. You basically have the whole place to yourself, amazing!

Exceeded our expectations! 4 of us (adults) stayed on this beautiful houseboat for 3 nights. Amazing location and views, and surprisingly quiet. The boat is spacious, spotless, and well equipped with everything you need. The outdoor sitting areas are wonderful, especially the upper deck!

Outstanding location and an outstanding property - well maintained and super clean. Friendly and helpful owner and dock staff. Liked my first stay so much I have already booked my return! An exceptionally enjoyable alternative experience to a hotel/cottage/house rental.

This was our 2nd year at the boathouse, and we had more fun than the first time. What a GREAT spot. Can't wait to go again next year

Loved this! Enjoyed the view from the upper deck of the river and boats. Easy walk to restaurants on this island and Portsmouth. Definitely plan to stay here again

It was a wonderful stay on the Reef. We loved sitting on the top deck watching boats go by. Very clean, we may make this a yearly stop for my birthday.

This is our second time on the Reef and it was perfect! Beautiful accommodations and a stunning view. Couldn’t have been easier, we will be back next summer!

The houseboat was so charming, very clean and just so much fun to spend time on. It included amenities that were above and beyond. Quality beds, bedding, linens, and several other perks. We will definitely be back!

Staying on the boat is extremely enjoyable, marina is well maintained, personal are knowledgeable and friendly. Portsmouth and Kittery have the best of everything restaurants , shopping etc. Rye beach and York Beach a short drive away. We will be back.

The boat is perfect. I booked the houseboat for my father and I. Just a little weekend fun trip. It’s close to everything. Beds are comfortable and very quiet at night. Would definitely stay again!
