Beautiful large houseboat-apartment at the canal district in the hearth of Amsterdam.

Communication with host was excellent. They were responsive and welcoming. The houseboat had all the amenities we could hope for in the kitchen and we were very comfortable.

We very much enjoyed our stay on this Amsterdam Jordaan district houseboat. It was quite spacious for 2 people and the neighborhood was delightful. It was especially great to be right on the water with the boats making their way up and down the waterway. No problems in communication or access.

The houseboat is lovely but a bit worn out & too many of the owners possessions in houseboat. Fabulous location and size!

Location is perfect. Responsive host. Within walking distance of everything. Loved having an outside space. Would book again.

We loved our stay at this amazing houseboat. It was spacious, comfortable and had the most amazing small deck to sit out and enjoy the boats going by. Kitchen was easy to cook in and had all of the amenities you could need, including spices. Note the drawers are the space saving type so while it seems like there is no silverware (as stated in a previous review), I promise you there is—the host made sure we knew how to access it. We loved that each room had its own bathroom and the water pressure was good. Beds were super comfortable with nice sheets and the closet was huge. Neighborhood is amazing too! Only have good things to say about this place. Don’t hesitate to book!

We had an incredible time in Amsterdam and your houseboat provided a charm that was second to none. We even endured an unexpected heat wave for a couple of days where temps reached near 100 degrees fahren

We loved the houseboat. It was spacious and well appointed and in a perfect location for a short walk to museums, cafes, and sightseeing. The beds are comfortable and it is lovely to listen to the water lapping the sides of the boat while you lay in bed. We highly recommend!

Guest guidance binder mentioned welcoming gift of beer, wine and cookies, only a bottle of wine was found in the fridge.Struggled to make contact with taxi company due to our lack of understanding of the area code/number, we were unable to reach anyone representing the property. A kindly tour representative came to our rescue.No silverware in kitchen, issue never resolved during our stay, Frustrating to have to use wooden disposable forks, knives and spoons.Toilet seat in main bathroom broken.Trash can needs replacing, item rusted and has stained the floor.We enjoyed the small outdoor seating area even though access was quite challenging for my 67 year old self and husband,

Beautifully appointed and neighborhood location cannot be equaled! Watching families, etc cruise by from the deck was so much fun, and the restaurants in the area are great. The guidebook provided is excellent and an entertaining read. We canntbwait tonreturn!

This property is a great way to experience Amsterdam. Being on the water is a unique experience. You sit in your comfortable living room sipping a cocktail and watching the boats drive by full of tourists that are paying extra to see Amsterdam the way you are seeing it. The property description is accurate. The beds are softer than what most are used to, but my wife and I found them comfortable to sleep on. I have a bad back and never woke up with discomfort. The high ratings are justified.

This houseboat is a dream! It's on a quiet canal, yet it's only minutes from anything you could want to do. The views are stunning and the bedrooms are comfortable. I couldn't have dreamed of a better experience.

We stayed here for 4 nights in July. It’s a wonderful location and we loved watching the boats sail by. There were a few maintenance and housekeeping issues. Kitchen was a little dirty and dishwasher hadn’t been unloaded when we arrived. We had to wait for awhile for the host to arrive to let us in the property. Wine had to be brought the second day that was supposed to be in the houseboat. With a few more guest services this could be more welcoming. However, it was a wonderful opportunity to experience a houseboat on a canal in Amsterdam.

Great neighborhood walking distance to bus and trains. Coffee and food very close by. Houseboat was fun and a unique experience. If you have physical limitations the few stairs going down to boat are not easy and the beds were very soft. Other than those two notes we would highly recommend!

Everything about this houseboat was wonderful. It is situated on a quiet part of the canal, away from the pedestrian traffic yet a convenient walk through the Jordaan, to museums, and to Westerpark which is quite beautiful. It is even a reasonable walk to the main train station. The rooms were roomy, there are two private bathrooms, and the boat is bright and airy. We stayed there with our adult son and enjoyed the deck just off the living room to watch the happenings along the canal. The arrangements and communications were excellent. Highly recommend this property!

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful houseboat. We would love to stay here again on our next Amsterdam trip.

Usually with either of the short term stay websites, you hope you get at least 50% to 75% of what the photos might show. This property wound up nearly being at 100%! It was an amazing experience. Suzanne and Diana (managers for the owner) were VERY responsive as we planned our trip. Diana greeted us at the houseboat and was totally gracious even though we were late due to initial bad directional advice from iPhone maps. The area - Jordaan - was perfect as it was away from the maddening Amsterdam crowds yet close enough to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go - though we made GREAT use of Tram 5. The houseboat was beautifully appointed! And what fun it was to wave at all the boats that passed in front on the canal. The boat is well anchored to the dock so there was no movement. This place deserves a 10!
