Stayed Jul 14, 2025We have rented from Whitman numerous times and Anchors Away did not disappoint! Float house was clean, had everything we needed. The teens loved the loft. Communication with the marina was excellent including check in / out. The water on Norris is like no other! Counting the days until we can come back!

Stayed Jun 18, 2025Great for a large group! Very clean property with everything you need. Checkin was easy. Description of loft area and as not detailed it looked bigger in pictures than it actually is so plan for kids or those that don’t mind being in a tight space together.

Stayed Jul 26, 2024Floating house was in a good location and accommodations were comfortable. Had plumbing issue with one of the toilets that was temporarily resolved but occurred again on the day we were checking out.

Stayed Jun 14, 2024My family and I spent the long weekend at anchors away. I have personally been to Norris many times, but never got the whole family to stay together. We all fit comfortably in this large 4 bedroom house with a loft! Large living room and kitchen space. It was nice to have somewhere roomy to sleep. But the main reason we were there was for the lake. The deck was huge, we spent the whole day out there. The waters were calm, got to swim and relax all day. The place could use a little dusting up high, otherwise fairly clean. We had two bathrooms and two showers which was really nice. We had some issues with hot water once and one of the toilets not functioning twice… Josh with maintenance came by twice to fix the problem though and went above and beyond - we really appreciated that. Overall loved our stay.
